On US cable network Oxygen, there is a new show called Dance Your Ass Off where extremely overweight people compete in a dance contest to lose weight. It’s Biggest Loser meets So You Think You Can Dance. If only they could incorporate Masterchef and cook a meal afterwards while wearing a cravat, the genre would be complete……

I am so incredibly glad this show only lasted one episode. It was just so horrible and degrading to watch people treated that way. The trending topics on Twitter the next day were terrible. One insentive twit said 'Watching a doco on whales living on land. No idea why its called Dance Your Ass Off." Grrrrr.
It's so funny and gross to watch all that fat jiggle. I'm trying to lose weight and I plan to 'dance my ass off' at the gym - cos I certainly can't go to a club to do it. Clubs are only for thin beautiful people.
