The bride who photobombed her groom 11 years before they met.

It was 1994.

Amy was five, and Nick was six. They were both building sandcastles on a beach near the village of Mousehole in the UK.

They didn’t know each other then, but they were captured in the same photo. Amy was sitting five metres behind Nick, who was posing with his family.

Amy and Nick never noticed each other at the beach that day. But 11 years later they met, fell in love and got married.

Just recently, they found the photo.

INSANE.

And you know what’s even better? They went back to the same place and took this photo 20 years after the original was taken.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Amy Maiden said:

‘The photo was taken by Nick’s grandad. Nick is sitting front right in the boat with his sister and two cousins and his family, his mum, uncle and nan are to the right and behind them.

‘To the left and behind his cousin I’m in the blue swimsuit with my mum, dad and sister.

‘What makes it even more significant was that, although I was brought up in Mousehole, Nick and his family didn’t even live in Cornwall at the time.

STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT.

We have a photo taken when I was in primary school on a free dress day. I had attended this school only for six months as we were staying with my grandfather after a heart attack inter-state.

Years and years later, one of the other kids on the background of the photo became my step sister after Mum remarried back in our home state,

One night a couple of years ago my family was all sitting around the table and mum was telling a story about a party she went to when she was at Uni in Melbourne.
She was saying that it was a massive house in Carlton, and that they only made it in so far as the hallway, it was so packed. She said they didn't stay long because they heard some guys were having a brawl in the kitchen.
Dad's ears pricked up and said, "Hang on, was that house on such and such a street, in 1983?"
They 'd been at the same party, it was my Dad's brothers house, and Dad was one of the guys in the fight, and mum and dad didn't meet until 1986.
They were both dumbstruck.
