FLUFF: The presidential family selfie that's breaking the internet

Ellen DeGeneres really laid down the gauntlet for the Best Famous-Person Selfie when she snapped that selfie at the Oscars.

Since that night, Ellen has inspired many people, with varying levels of fame, to recreate that iconic shot. Today, because this is the world we live in now, there’s a Clinton Family Portrait version of the celeb selfie.

Yep. Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and their daughter Chelsea Clinton all got in on a selfie with TV host Jimmy Kimmel during an event at the Clinton Global Initiative University in Tempe, Arizona, USA.

You know what they say: Families who take selfies together, stay together. While this has only been retweeted about 8,000 times, we’re still glad it exists. It might not feature J-Law or Meryl, but it’s got a certain presidential charm.

Here’s the original selfie, starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong’o and her brother Peter Nyong’o and the side of Jared Leto’s face.

This photos has been retweeted about 3.5 million times.

President Obama told Ellen that this photo was a “cheap stunt” when he appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show last week (really, he just got his presidential knickers in a knot because Ellen broke the record for most tweeted picture… previously held by the President and his wife Michelle Obama with a sweet photo of them embracing).

Yes, seriously. Here’s the footage of President Obama telling Ellen off for beating his twitter record.
