Climbing Kilimanjaro for Alzheimer's Australia NSW

My name is Emma and I am going to be climbing Kilimanjaro for Alzheimer’s Australia NSW.

I will take on this challenge in honour of my Grandpa, Jack Lovell, who passed away at the end of 2008.

On the plane on the way to his funeral in the UK, I read about groups doing charity challenges in honour of loved ones. They just so happened to be climbing Kilimanjaro and this was the moment I decided I had to do this for Grandpa!

The first milestone has already been achieved, the trip has been launched. The next step? Raising $10,000 to take part with proceeds going to Alzheimer’s Australia NSW. With your help, I know I can raise more!!

I am helping raise funds that will support the work of Alzheimer’s Australia NSW, the peak body in NSW for people living with dementia, their families and carers. All funds raised through this challenge will support the services they tirelessly provide at no cost to those living with dementia.

I am going to scale the heights of the world’s tallest freestanding mountain, the majestic Kilimanjaro and along the way, I will be sharing it with you through my blog which you can find here.

Sponsor me and help me make a difference to those living with the disease and the people who support them.
