Bono, the child of legendary entertainers Sonny and Cher, began the process earlier this year, shortly after his 40th birthday. “Yes,
it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the
courageous decision to honor his true identity,” confirmed Bono’s
publicist, Howard Bragman.

loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open

‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago. We ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time.”
I posted on the subject of transgendered kids here before..…kids as young as 6 or 7 who identify with the opposite gender. It’s a fascinating and quite heart-breaking subject. Happy for Chastity that she’s doing what feels right for her. I can’t imagine how it might feel to be trapped in the wrong body….

I will absolutley never know why people would want to get sex changes, but honestly i think she would kind of look better as a guy. Don't get me wrong she was actualy cute as a kid.
Sorry I won;t go into details, but a boy at my childrens pre-school has GOT to be a girl. He only feels comforable wearing girls clothes. When he gets upset, a dress is the only thing which comfort him. If he is not wearing a dress, he puts things on his head to give the impression of long hair, and he doesn't 'play' dress-ups, its just him playing as him. Get it?
I have never given much thought to the issue, but I must say, witnessing this childs behaviour and discomfort with his gender at 2-4 has made me believe some people are obviously born in the wrong body.
