Channel 10 is in voluntary administration. Will The Bachelor still be on?

So, earlier today the folks over at Network Ten announced the company had gone into voluntary administration.

Despite losing the financial backing of billionaires Lachlan Murdoch and Bruce Gordon, Ten was quick to assure its shareholders and employees things would be business as usual until either company finances are rebuilt or a willing buyer can be found.

It’s obviously a blow for the free-to-air network, but what of its wildly popular Bachelor franchise?

Is love, in fact, finally DEAD?

Thankfully, our Bachelor and Bachelorette-to-be, Matty J and the incomparable Sophie Monk, will still have the chance to break hearts all winter long.

“Today’s announcement has no impact on Ten’s programming schedule," a network spokesperson told Mamamia.

LISTEN: The Binge team discusses Sophie Monk's appointment (post continues)...

"It is business as usual, new seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are in production, and we look forward to delivering these programs to viewers.”

So fingers crossed, there'll be cocktails and 'copter rides out the wazoo, as per usual.
