Demi Moore out of rehab

We’re still not really sure why Demi Moore went to rehab, but the good news is now she’s out. “Sources” have told E News that she’s gone on vacation and is in no rush to head back to Hollywood. Jezebel’s reporting that she’s jetted away to the Turks and Caicos. (Which we think is in the Caribbean..)

Beyonce breastfeeds in public

First on today’s agenda. Beyonce took her daughter, Blue Ivy, out for her first public outing – lunch in NYC. While at lunch, Beyonce reportedly breastfed 8-week-old during the lunch, or so say eye witnesses, and that’s what everyone’s talking about. You go girl.

What do you think?

Unfortunetly due to the extremely low rates of breastfeeding any celebrity story on breastfeeding can only be a positive thing. Breastfeeding is not meant to cause offense to anyone it is simply a mother nourishing her child as nature intended. It amazes me that people could find this act so repulsive as to put rules on breastfeeding mothers.

"the breast feed debate"

I don't think a woman should be ridiculed for feeding her child in public if it's absolutely necessary (and it remains discreet ie, that is a blanket is used) but one should not be applauded for it. I find the title on the tweet leading to this really annoying, like she should be congratulated for getting a private part of her body out in public.

What? 'if it's absolutely necessary'??? Why should it be discreet? It's not a private part it's a breast. I breastfeed when and wherever I need to. Every mother should be congratulated for caring for and nurturing her child. I dont think Beyonce feeding in public is newsworthy, what else is she supposed to do?!

It's very offensive. Especially in a restaurant etc. I'm less offended if I see it in a children's park or McDonald's. I appreciate women that do it discreetly. Im just saying that it shouldn't be publisised, or publicaly congratulated.

What exactly do you find offensive about it?

Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.
