Jessica Simpson has given birth to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson.
“We are so grateful for the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!” Jessica wrote on her website.
Before the official announcement, it was being widely reported Jessica and her partner Eric Johnson were spotted checking into an LA hospital with Simpson’s mum, Tina, sister, Ashlee, and Johnson’s parents.
Baby Maxwell weighed 9 lbs. 13 ounces. (About 4.4 kilograms. )

She must be so happy to be finally enjoying those wonderful newborn cuddles :) I am a very petite 5"4 and 47kgs pre pregnancy and my beautiful daughter was 9.5lbs and she was a wonderful drugfree waterbirth baby, much easier to birth than my 8lb son by far!
