Brownlow medal RED CARPET 2014.

EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

The Brownlows are on tonight.

You don’t have to be a football fan. You don’t even have to know what a football is (a ball in the shape of a foot, yeah?).

But if you like dresses, if you like shiny things, if you like awkward ‘blue carpet’ interviews, than let’s get Brownlowed.

And if you’re keen to take a trip down memory lane, take a look at last year’s gallery:

The fashion show is an added extra to the Brownlow Medal function. Personally, I like to see what the WAGs wear every year. There are those who go with the safe options, those who are on-trend, and those who create their own trend - each to their. Look foward to next year's offerings, WAGs.

I really feel for all these women, being judged on one quick snapshot on one night of the year.
I like looking at all the pretty dresses, but hate the constant bitching and judging that is all over social media on the best/ worst dress.
And also the thought that these women are nothing more than 'arm candy' and 'trophy wives' when in fact many of them are successful in their own right, for every woman like Bec Judd there are 10 women who are average women like ourselves, that get to have one night out to feel special before going back to their own jobs, kids, ordinary lives the next day.
One of my dearest friends is one of these women. She is an accountant with 2 young kids, who for this one night must organise a babysitter, a day of annual leave, hair and make up appointments, find a suitable dress (off the rack) and sthen sit through one of the most boring nights of the year.
I'm just saying, being a 'wag' is definitely not all its cracked up to be.
She only does it to support her husband, just like all of us attend the dreaded company partners of our partners come Christmas time.
