Britney Spears has really come into her own in recent years.
The Oops I Did It Again singer, who had a very shocking and very public meltdown back in 2007, has cemented herself as a cultural icon, an Instagram star, and a fixture on the Vegas scene where her residence has been extended for a further two years.
Spears is also the mother to two adorable young men, Jayden, nine, and Sean, ten. As part of TIME Magazine’s ‘Letters from Mum’ series, Spears wrote a letter to her beloved sons.
“You are my masterpieces. From the day I saw the most precious eyes, I believed in miracles to the core,” Spears began.
“I pray as a mother I teach you strength and passion to carry through the struggles in the world. Most battles will always be won on your knees. I pray you find your dreams.”
The letter, accompanied by a picture of Spears reading to her boys, is an ode to her sons, who are the centre of her life.
Spears had the boys with ex-husband, back-up-dancer-turned-temporary-reality-TV-star, Kevin Federline, during their two year marriage.
“Always believe in yourself and know anything is possible. I pray dreaming awakens your soul to limitless possibilities,” the 34-year-old singer continued.
“I hope the most precious mysteries of life stay with you always and you are never ashamed of how bright your light truly is.”
Spears finished on a touching note, “I pray you laugh, love and soar through your journey of life.”
