Hero, Shocker and Whinger of the Week.

Welcome to Mamamia Rogue’s Shocker, Hero and Whinger of the Week.

You guys know the deal, but if not here’s a bit of a refresher: Each week, we pick the biggest Shocker, Hero and Whinger from the last seven days. Shocker is whatever moment or person left our jaws on the floor. Hero is whoever won the week by being flat out amazing. And whinger? Well, that’s pretty much just someone who has had a major sooky-la-la moment.

Because this week is all about BACHIE DRAMA, we decided to go with a #dirtystreetpie theme.

Shocker of the week goes to …

Just one day after Bachie proposed on television, his now-ex fiancé, Sam, and Channel Ten confirmed that they’ve split. This comes after rumours circulated that Bachie might have knocked up one of his other 24 girlfriends (denied).

Relive the brief romance below.

Hero of the week …

Which leads us to the hero of the week; Sam Frost! It seemed as if she was just as in the dark as we were on Friday when it was announced her and Bachie had split, tweeting the below:

Whinger of the week …

The whole of Australia. Because BACHIE has come to an end which means no more DRAMA and no more glorious shots of Osher’s hair or GUSHICA or LAURINA. Most importantly, no more Rosie’s Recaps. Let’s take a moment to compose ourselves, but don’t take too long because it will all be back next year.

As both loser and shocker of the week, I'd like to nominate the extremely well-dressed, well-spoken, so-called mother who dragged her poor kid into our well known department store on Friday.

Her son (about 6) was repeatedly telling his mother that he needed to go to the toilet.
The "mother" ignored said child, and continued looking at expensive pieces of jewellery. All the staff were busy and unable to assist the child, which wasn't their role to begin with.

Finally this poor kid couldn't hold it anymore, and crying said to his mum that he "had to go". Mum, without even looking at her son, said (verbatim) - "Fine. Just GO ON THE FLOOR but don't you dare wet your shoes".

So this poor kid, in the middle of a shop, pissed on the carpet. In front of staff, in front of
other shoppers. When confronted by the manager and security, the "mother" said (verbatim) - "But you have cleaners? You hire Asian cleaners to do this, yes??" (Which we don't). And before anyone asks, no, this child did not have any form of autism or any other learning disability (this was determined when the police came along).

Another two months and then I'm finished my anthropology doctorate, so can finally stop working part-time in retail (although I chose to study behaviours in shoppers as part of my assessment). As both a woman and a mother, I am mortified and disgusted by this woman. To be honest, I've worked in numerous departments within our store over the years and have found female shoppers to be the worst. Disrespectful, grubby, rude, untidy, thoughtless. The number of lovely little 'surprises' we find stuffed down chairs in fitting rooms, soiled nappies hidden under stock, used feminine hygiene products hidden in all sorts of places. Men don't behave like this!!

These women remind me of parents who take their kids to a food court, leave an absolute grubby mess with the excuse "that's what cleaners are for.....if I clean it up it will put someone out of a job!!" etc, etc.

Lazy parenting at it's best!

What on earth is a "winger"? Do you mean "whinger"? If so, under the circumstances of her posted experiences, Jillian has every right to whinge!

Are you one of those parents she's written about?
