Yesterday, we saw The Bachelor‘s Blake Garvey and now-ex-girlfriend Louise Pillidge glumly looking out to sea in their ‘break-up photoshoot‘.
There was emotional water-gazing. There were tense ‘we are turning away from each other because we are totally fighting’ poses. There was Blake’s mention of “walking on eggshells” and how “suffocating” being with Louise was. It was All. Going. On.
Like any good press tour for your relationship break-up, Blake and Louise naturally agreed to do an interview with The Kyle & Jackie O Show, and were set the be on the air at 8:10am this morning.

But there was only one problem: Blake and Louise didn't show up.

People who tuned in to the show were bitterly disappointed that the promised interview did not take place, and the radio network hurriedly removed their preview Instagram post without explanation.
Yes, the King and Queen of Breakup Publicity didn't rock up to their own breakup publicity radio interview. Which is definitely a no-no in The World of Breakup Publicity. And now, the loyal listeners who were promised all of the (typically very private) info want to know why they missed out, dammit.
Then today, in what was a surprising twist of events, the duo were promised for TOMORROW'S show. Which has us equally perplexed as to why the original interview was postponed. Was Blake temporarily out-of-action from stepping on one too many egg shells? Or did the couple just need to practice the perfect 'why we are breaking up' speech? Perhaps tomorrow we'll find out.
