Super-fast delivery

I’d been moaning that baby would never come out.

I got into the delivery room at 1.30am and was given my gas and air!  Bliss!

Watery homebirth

The boys were both asleep upstairs and DH phoned his mum to come over for when they woke up.

I announced, “it's a boy!” and he was handed to me. I was besotted from the moment I saw him.

Having an epidural 

My anaesthetist was a lovely man and talked me through everything, although quite frankly by this point he could have told me he was chopping bot

Induction experiences 

After changing my mind over and over about where to have Matthew, the decision was taken out of my hands.

I still had a really positive experience though, I was induced at 10.15am and he was born at 9.51pm, with only gas and air for pain relief.
