Ask Mia Anything + What are you feeling torn about?

My husband (we're getting divorced) has been behaving erractically & horribly since he left 2 years ago, & has now attempted suicide. He is in a phychiatric hospital but now his domineering father is trying to take over everything to do with my children! How do I deal with him as he's a bully & acting like he's now in my ex's role & has the right to make decisions for my children (who are early & mid teens). He's one of these "my way or the highway" type of people & gets very agro if I dare to disagree with him!
I have some important schooling decisions to make for my son, as well as expecting desperately needed money tomorrow (maintenence & child support) but doubt I'll get that now that he's in hospital in the state he is in. I can't talk to them as it's nearly impossible at the best of times....any suggestions?? And suggestions on my husbands recovery?? Thanks x
