Adele left a heartbreaking, handwritten note to fans on the last leg of her world tour.

Adele’s concert in London on Wednesday night marked the close of her 25 world tour—and potentially, her touring career overall.

The popstar—who has told fans previously that she doesn’t plan on touring again anytime soon—underscored her plans with a hand-written “goodbye” note to those who attended her concert at Wembley Stadium, the first of four final concerts in London.

The letter, included in the concert program, thanked fans for their support before adding:

“So this is it. After 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25, we are at the end.

“Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things.

“Plus, I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring.”

“I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home,” the letter continued.

“Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life.”

The 25-year-old, mother-of-one also quipped on stage about the tour's end. "It's been amazing but it's been really f*cking hard work," she reportedly told the stadium filled with 98,000 people.

"Don't get me wrong, you should have to work hard for the things you get in life but I mean, I just want to eat takeaways and drink white wine."

Literally, all of us.
