A 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Australia recently. So why isn't anyone talking about it?

Not good enough, Australia.

By ABC

Northern Territory Chief Minister Adam Giles has labelled the media racist for apparently neglecting a story about the alleged rape of a young child at a town camp in Alice Springs.

The child was allegedly dragged into scrubland while walking home and sexually assaulted three weeks ago.

A 29-year-old man was charged shortly afterwards.

“The saddest part is that it was a little blip in the media radar, something that raised a few column inches and has disappeared,” Mr Giles said in Parliament.

“One can only think that if it was a blonde-haired, blue-eyed little girl it may be the front page of media around the country.”

Almost no information on the alleged rape was provided to the media by police.

NT Police provided a two-line press release on the case two days after the ABC first made inquiries.

Mr Giles has since ordered a review into every non-government organisation and third-party provider funded by the NT Government to service town camps across Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.

He told ABC Alice Springs the alleged crime had brought on a personal “tipping point” in him and action had to be taken.

Mr Giles also called on Government agencies to attend a meeting this Friday to discuss the situation.

“The review’s providing a better and safer environment within the town camps and town itself, so it’s a normal government meeting when we’ve called together agencies,” he said.

“We just want to hold them to account a bit and find out exactly what going on in a range of areas.”

This is a prime example of the politically correct, left wing social engineers, Greens and assorted crackpot bleeding hearts reaping what they have sown. They have made people and media so afraid of reporting on these sorts of events for fear of being labelled racist, that it is not being brought to light. Whilst absolutely scandalous, one can't help but snigger at what is likely to be an outpouring of faux outrage by the usual left leaning suspects about something that is largely their own fault !

I'm aware that this it's on in remote aboriginal communities and isn't reported. There are limited services and support. In saying that, my husband I live in a capital city in Australia. In a suburb with a high indigenous population. Where we see we can give assistance, we do, but where we see trouble. We report. Like last week when we saw two indigenous men breaking into out neighbours house. Called police. They were caught. The next day our windows were smashed. That same
Week those same perpetrators were in the front of our house/road, one BASHING the living day lights out of his partner. I drive in drive way, see what's happening and am threatened "You look at me once more or call the cops and your kids are dead and your house on fire."
