Ada Nicodemou has spoken out about the tragic loss of her son.

Ada Nicodemou has spoken out about losing her second son, Harrison.

The Home and Away actress, who is married to Chrys Xipolitas, was believed to have been eight months into her pregnancy with Harrison when he was tragically delivered stillborn.

Ada, 37, posted on Instagram to share a tribute to her son, posting a poem entitled “Never” by poet K. Fugleberg.

It read: “I’ll never get to see your precious face, or whisper words to make you feel safe, I’ll never get to hold you tight, when you can’t sleep at night.”

“I’ll never get to fall asleep with you in my arms, all bundled in a blanket to keep you warm,” it read.

“I’ll never get to hear you laugh and giggle or see your little toes wiggle.”

Accompanying the poem was a message of thanks to family and friends who have supported the couple following their loss.

“I would like to thank everyone for their love and support through a very difficult time,” the Instagram post read. “Thank You!”

Ada and Chrys married have a two-year-old son, Johnas, who was conceived through IVF in 2011.

Our thoughts are with Ada, Chrys and their family.

It de-stigmatises IVF. To know that celebrities (and not just the ones who chose to start breeding in their 40's) can suffer reproductive challenges validates everyday women/men going through the emotionally and physically gruelling process of IVF, giving them hope.
