teens

If you grew up in the '90s, here are 18 (revolting) things you definitely wore.

Anyone who reckons life was easier when you were a teenager was obviously not a cool teenager.

Why? Because keeping up with the ‘cool girl’ fashion statements was not easy. IT WAS EXHAUSTING (and expensive for our poor parents).

Regardless of where you grew up or what school you went to, everyone’s childhood was defined by a few key trends or clothes/accessories that you simply had to own or your life would end. It was that dramatic.

Because we could all do with a laugh, here are the 18 old school fashion trends you definitely wore but wish you could forget.

And if you didn’t wear them, you were probably begging your parents to buy them for you.

Bless.

I don’t see anything wrong with 90% of the items. I wore most of them and even in 2019 don’t regret wearing them in my teen years and early 20s. My friends and family rocked the look too.

There are fashion trends and then there are fads; there’s place for both and the difference is fads rarely make a come back. Fashion trends on the other hand are ever evolving, my view is designers modify a design and a pattern and the same pieces make a come back after a few decades.

Some people miss the detailing of a product because they get their fashion ideas from magazines and tv shows and are told about what they see. They don’t really research much or have a knowledge of art, culture, pattern making and where each trends came from. Or, haven’t done fashion designing courses to learn where they made products made their marks and made come backs!!!
