Muff love. A bizarre beauty product.

How much do YOU love your muff?

This post involves muffs. Seriously. Not a topic we’ve ever shied away from on Mamamia – remember vajazzling, vajacials, va-ttooing, painting your bits pink and cupcakes that look like vaginas?

At Mamamia, we’re  lucky enough  to receive quite a few beauty products each week but this one made quite an impression. I spat my tea halfway across the room when the I Love My Muff kit landed on my desk.

It’s basically a maintenance kit for your lady garden, it costs about US$40 and the boldly packaged products inside included a wash, spray, lotion and wipes.

The range was created by American woman, Ritz Clinging because she saw a gap in the market…she explains:

“I had a need. I sought a solution. It wasn’t there. I created my own. From one woman to another. Love yourself. Love your muff.”

Yes, muff love is definitely the message for this new range of products.

Until now, feminine hygiene products haven’t had the best rap, from embarrassing late night infomercials to being hidden amongst tampons and pads in supermarkets aisles. This brand is attempting to change all that, by urging women to be loud and proud about their muffs.

The kit that landed on my desk.

All the products are vegan, free of any parabens, SLS, synthetic colors and fragrances, which is a good thing I guess if your putting it near your nether regions. The lotion, according to the BWW website, is an “irresistable fusion of vanilla, grapefruit and ylang ylang, there’s no telling where it will take you.”

Like, Paris maybe? But seriously, it’s to apply after shaving and waxing. What did you think it was for? I’ll admit I was initially confused.

What is the most bizarre beauty product that you have ever used or heard of?
