Rikki-Lee looks fantastic, and I love her dress. So over seeing people in the bandage body con dresses.
Bring on summer…

is it just me or does Jodi Gordon look a bit tradjic??

ADORE the colours – yum! What I’ve seen of Jen on the telly these past few days, she seems to be trying too hard. Sass & Bide – argh, can’t stand those two! But grudgingly have to say that this season looks like they’ve nailed it.

Love the colour blocking Mia – J Brand jeans I think, but that top would beautifully disguise my upper arms – where did you buy it? Might save me a lot of grief at the gym before summer.

I think Mia’s top and jeans are both Sass & Bide

Can’t see the gallery on an iPhone?

Yeah I can’t see it either. Am new to iPhones tho – might be missing something? Anyone have any tips?

Does anyone else think Jen’s face looks funny? Not in a bad way, just different… maybe she’s had some work?? dunno, just looks very different

Too much botox or fillers I think.

A little birdie in Bronte told me that she saw her at her own surgeon’s clinic after she’d had a nose job and botox…I didn’t want to believe it until I saw pictures of her when she was one of those girls at the Grand Prix, pre-Miss Australia, looking completely different.

I was thinking the same, shes morphed into a very fake looking person which is a shame because she was so natural when you look back at her miss universe days. The pressure to be perfect must be insane if she felt she had to that.

Ohhh Mia, would have been EASILY best dressed if it weren’t for the shoes. Great colour blocking though

Mia, you look gorgeous! Love the coloured denim.
I think Rikki Lee looks beautiful but she looked so beautiful before!! I think when you lose a lot of weight you start to lose too much around your face.
Loving these galleries!

What on earth is Myer trying to promote. Who would wear these horrid looking rags, are we still in Woodstock. Whatever happened to wearable dresses and elegant blouses and colours that actually match. No wonder they are going down the drain. WAKE UP MYER, women want clothes that they can actually wear, not wipe the floor with. I used to browse in Myer trying to find something worth buying, now I don’t even bother walking in, not to mention the outrageous prices they charge. You have certainly lost alot of women who now shop elsewhere.

… I’d wear them

I’d also wear them. Some women like to follow global fashion trends (like colour blocking) as an expression of creativity and as a way to inject colour into the work week. Seeing someone wearing a colourful item makes me smile.

Surely “following global trends as an expression of creativity” is an oxymoron? If you are “following” how are you doing anything other than copy? You certainly aren’t creating anything new. Following fashion is fun, but it’s following, not leading.
Don’t get me wrong, I follow fashion too, but I don’t kid myself that I’m being creative when I wear designer stuff. I just enjoy feeling good in something new, that’s (hopefully) flattering, in colours that I enjoy wearing, or being in the appropriate ‘costume’ for the event. That’s all that fashion is.

i think you can interpret trends for yourself based on what you may already own, wearing clothes or colours again after leaving them gathering dust in the back of your wardrobe. Or, alternatively, i think creativity comes into play by finding something in an opshop that vaguely resembles something from the catwalk. maybe am deluding myself thinking that’s creative but makes getting dressed/shopping on a budget more fun!

LOVE IT! Now please give us some warm sunshine Melbourne (cos those clothes don’t look so great under a thick puffa coat!)
