Why would a grown man wear a pink tutu and travel around America having his photo taken?

To help his wife fight cancer.

The Tutu Project has been raising money for breast cancer research since Bob Carey’s wife Linda was diagnosed nine years ago.

The success of the project has been so overwhelming that Bob intends to publish a book of the photos soon.

Bob says “Her cancer has taught us that life is good, dealing with it can be hard, and sometimes the very best thing—no, the only thing—we can do to face another day is to laugh at ourselves and share a laugh with others.”

His photos are beautiful.

I’ve just brought the book and am waiting for it to arrive.

What would a man wear under his tutu?

Those photos are whimsical and beautiful. There is something so touching about them; rather than finding them hilarious I am enormously moved. But he is so right about lightening up and finding the fun – it’s something I’ve tried to do actively lately as I feel our lives getting far too serious.

    Bravo.

He should take a photo of himself at Collingwood training. He would fit in perfectly.^

    What a legend.
