Never heard of Christine Centenera?
She’s Australian Harper’s Bazaar fashion editor and she KNOWS HER FASHION. At the start of her career, she worked with our Publisher Mia Freedman at Cosmo as a marketing assistant. Mia says “She always had incredible style. One of those people who is just always immaculately put together and always wears her fashion, never lets it wear her.”
Here’s what Lifestyled.com.au editor Paula Joye has to say about Christine Centenera:
It’s no coincidence that Fashion Editor of Harpers Bazaar, Christine Centenera shares initials with fashion icon (Coco Chanel) – because she’s fast on the way to becoming one herself. I used to work with Christine and everyday – without fail – she brings it. I’ve joked with her that she looks like she’s just stepped out of a video clip and all that’s missing is a wind machine. But it’s not really a joke. She does look THAT put together. Truly a joy to watch and chic to the tip of her toes.
Check out her style yourself here:

Christine Centenera
Christine brought it all the way to Paris last week for Kanye West’s debut womenswear show at Paris Fashion Week. And she wasn’t just there to observe. Christine – who is the girlfriend of designer Josh Goot – has been flying to Paris and London fortnightly consulting with West on his range after he sought her out to work with him, having seen her pictures on the internet where she constantly appears in street style blogs.
The SMH reports:
Just how intense the fashionista’s involvement had been was evident on the catwalk. The whole collection smacked of Centenera’s signature style, a mix of sport-luxe and amped up glamour that has seen the editor become something of a street style sensation.
Guests at West’s show included the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Anna Wintour and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. And the show itself? It was a mix of skin, leather and lots of fur. And the reviews were mixed.
And from the SMH again:
A regular at the shows for several years now, the sincerity of West’s fascination with fashion is undoubtable. His fan-boy status, huge well of resources and army of collaborators meant that expectations for the debut were set very high.
Ultimately, reviews were mixed with critics pointing out the range’s similarities to Balmain, and critiquing the large quantities of fur employed for a spring/summer collection, while praising the line’s balance between luxe and street.
But critics agreed on one point: the collection shows promise. Forthcoming seasons should be well-attended with many fashion commentators tweeting their curiosity about West’s next move.
From the New York Times:
His show was described by those who attended as, at best, a disappointment, and yet the rapper could be found almost everywhere during Paris Fashion Week defending himself.
What was most confounding about Mr. West’s behavior, after years of obsessive study of the industry, was that he demonstrated very little understanding of how he might actually be perceived by retailers and editors who have a vast amount of experience at detecting utter nonsense. And he had promised them so much, telling the fashion director of one magazine, for example, that design was more important to him than music, and that he planned, with his runway debut, to “change the course of fashion.”
From People Magazine:
Wall Street Journal columnist Christina Binkley wrote that the show was at time “painful,” and recalled the Flinstones when referencing one particular breastplate. And though she “liked the perforated black leather” seen on several garments, she didn’t love the way it was used. “A vast quantity of luxury materials can’t blind people to a lack of creative marksmanship,” she wrote.
Take a look at some images from Kanye’s show. What do you think?
For the record – it’s Mamamia editorial policy not to post pictures of fur, thus we’ve made a decision not to post any images of the fur featured in West’s show. And we’re very disappointed that fur was included at all in the range. UGH.

So you’ll post photos of leather but not fur?
Go figure.
loading...
in answer to the title of the post…. hell to the yes. i freaking love this chic, if i could have any wardrobe, it would be hers. and her hair. LOVE
loading...
meh….
and those shoes?
meh….
loading...
You know what? I think Christine’s style is actually original and beautiful and represents fashion really well. Kanye’s line on the other hand… I looked through the catwalk pics with an open mind, but there is nothing wearable in that collection. Pity, as I think Kanye is a talented guy.
loading...
Really? Think most of the shoes look ridiculous or just plain ugly. Perhaps it works if you’re a 19 year old but I wouldn’t wear most of those shoes if you gave them to me. And what’s with the humpy posture. Perhaps the shoes make it hard for her to stand tall?
loading...
As we are being asked our opinion on her style I feel Ok saying that I so do not agree. There are a couple of pieces that are good, but overall…meh
As for Kanye…nothing eye catching in that collection….looked kind of fashion schoolish.
loading...
If what Kanye meant by changing the course of fashion is that he was trying to bring in the camel toe (picture 18 pr 19?) then I am happy back on the current course thank you very much.
loading...
her shoe closet must be bulging at the seams

Mamamia, I’m incredibly happy to hear that you take an anti-fur stance on the site. Anyone who uses fur in fashion, or wears fur products absolutely disgusts me. Especially considering there is so much information available regarding the torture that these animals undergo during the fur removal process. It saddens me so much to hear that even armed with all that information about fur farms and the animal abuse that occurs; they still choose to use fur in fashion and wear fur.
Ruby Rose recently came out against fur and I highly applaud her for that. Here’s a link – http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/fashion/ruby-roses-fur-fury-over-australias-next-top-model/story-e6frfn7i-1226142216765
Kudos again Mamamia. Hopefully more people in the media and more importantly, in fashion, will agree with you in the future.
loading...
do you feel the same about leather?
loading...
I think she looks good but as expected. Nothing about her look surprises me, so I would never class her as Australia’s Most Stylish…I like a dash of crazy. Might be an interesting idea for a post though, who readers think is Australia’s Most Stylish?
loading...
wtf is terry goddamn richardson doing front row
loading...
Just so you know – image 8 is a fur image – the back of the vest is fur.
otherwise, I actually don’t mind the collection so much. I think CC has some very good looks (like the yellow dress with leather jacket) and some that are a bit lukewarm/ tryhard looking. But on the note of fur… something I contemplated recently, what is the difference in practical terms between wearing fur and wearing leather? For all intents any purposes leather is fur with hair removed…..just a thought…..
having said that, I find non-leather shoes very hard to handle…. same for bags really….
loading...
Because the vast majority of leather is a by-product of the meat industry (ie. cows) and furs usually come from animals that can’t be farmed and are only sought after for their beautiful coats. Yuck!
loading...
Brush-tailed Possum fur is a by-product of a pest that is killing the native wildlife in NZ.
loading...
rabbit, fox and possum are vermin pests in australia… they are killed anyway, may as well make use of their fur.
by the way, people do eat rabbit as well. more and more frequently i’m noticing it on restaurant menus.
loading...
Laura Fantucci of Wearing It Today is my modern day style icon – her ‘look’ is far more wearable, I find!
http://wearingittoday.blogspot.com/
loading...
Yep, she’s stylish – and real.
loading...
Winter in Paris, scarf around neck, long sleeved jacket, gloves AND BARE LEGS!!?? Seriously funny. Reminds me of when I see those girls in town dressed for winter n then bare legs and things or guys in singlets, skinny jeans, scarfs and thongs…she’s friends with Lara Bingle? I find the whole industry fake and pretty ridiculous. Just because someone in a mag says it’s in fashion doesn’t mean you won’t look ridiculous. Poo catcher pants anyone? Hmmm…
loading...
Agreed. Of course fashion is subjective but to me her look seems kinda contrived. I’ve always loved the style of people like Clemence Poesy, Tilda Swinton and Sophia Coppola. Each to their own but I think someone like Marieke Hardy is far more stylish than the person above.
loading...
I am ONLY 30, but what counts as fashion completely leaves me cold. I get really anxious when going clothes shopping now because I can’t find anything that suits my body shape (size 10-12 with curves) and reflects how I see myself. I end up going to Country Road or some other conservative, safe retailer because that cute boutique on the corner or even anything in the major chains and department stores doesn’t fit me. I feel prematurely frumpy, boring and unfashionable…
And all of the clothes above epitomise what I don’t like about current fashion and why I’m left feeling like a fashion outside. Money to spend, but nothing to buy.
loading...
Why not go to Westfield and see a stylist? If I had a size 10 -12 body I wouldn’t be being frumpy clothes!
loading...
That’s EXACTLY how I feel! Nothing bloody fits! And I too am a 10-12!
loading...
I have actually looked into that kind of service (getting a stylist consult) and found the whole experience even more depressing. The stylist confirmed what I already felt.
Things fit – they just don’t flatter. I don’t want to wear short-short skirts and I hate the towering heals, but I do want to emphasise my waist and wear things that highlight my good points.
I hate 80s revival – because it reminds me of the clothes I wore in primary school. I’m all grown up now. I want to wear things that are designed for women, not girls – but I’m not ready for twin-sets just yet.
loading...
Great – money to spend and you are only 30. Save your money. Buy a few basic things (hate the word pieces), such as jeans, black pants, white shirt etc. and then buy a plane ticket with the rest.
loading...
Thanks for your advice. For better or worse, I’ve got family, work, a mortgage, and health issues that are keeping me here at the moment.
I’m thirty – not twent one. I’m young enough to want to look good, not so young I don’t have commitments.
loading...
Aww, sorry. I didn’t mean to layer more annoyance on top of the annoyance that is shopping for clothes. I hear you. Try 40 plus, where you also risk making a fool of yourself if you make the wrong choices – even harder to tread that line between frumpy and fashion. I guess I had the wrong idea about 30! I know how you feel. I guess the same applies – save the money – but I know that it’s difficult when you are not just shopping for something for Saturday night but when you actually NEED something so that you don’t go naked and simply can’t find a thing.
loading...
Maybe you should try Review. The clothes are a little more ladylike and I find their clothes flatter my curvy size 12 shape really well
loading...
I like Review too, and Diana Ferrari have some great dresses that I love for work. I am 10-12 with lots of curves too.
loading...
The woman’s style is interesting I agree- and she looks great – but I couldn’t relate to or wear any of it…
You are right about Australian fashion – I had access to great stuff during my 9 years in the UK – I wish I had bought more- I tend to buy most of my fashion online, the odd interesting piece from Jacqui E or from Savers…
loading...
I love her look – very jealous. Is it high fashion and not totally attainable? Sure, but that’s what sets her apart from just wearing typical tees and jeans. And PSSST, I think picture 8 in the slide show features fur
loading...
Fashion is one of the more facile things in the world I think. I cant understand why people care about it. My young daughter looked at the pictures of Christine Centenara and said “she lookes pretty but her feet look very uncomfortable”.
loading...
I just don’t understand how you can AFFORD to be that fashionable. It’s so wasteful.
loading...
You know what I notice about Christine? It’s other people in her own industry that promote her, like Paula or social snappers for the Sunday papers. Everyone outside that Sydney fashion/media crowd doesn’t give two hoots about her. I’m in the latter camp and disappointed Mamamia reproduced existing content from Lifestyled.
loading...
Spot on. To those of us outside the fashion industry – well, at least to me – she looks too try-hard, too unhappy/sullen in the attempt to look cool [smile girl, it won't kill you!], and all those ankle shoes just look silly. Some of the outfits work, but overall she’s not my idea of stylish. Let this be a warning to everyone; don’t assume that the norms of your own sector apply outside it.
loading...
Very interesting points. Duly noted!
loading...
I disagree. I’m not in Christine’s industry and I don’t live in Sydney but it doesn’t mean I mind hearing about people in the fashion industry or seeing what they’re wearing. The girl is stylish. She obviously spends a lot of money on clothes or is given them, and you know what, good for her. It’s her business what she spends her money on and if the clothes are for free, then the only thing I feel is a bit of jealousy. You may not like her shoes or her outfits but at the end of the day, her clothing choices are nothing to take offence at.
loading...
I don’t really get Kanye’s clothes. They don’t seem to have any structure, or any meaning, or any ‘story’. I’m most definitely no fashion insider, but with successful labels like Balmain, or Lanvin, even Zimmerman, even laypeople can tell exactly what they’re trying to get across. These clothes are ill-fitting and don’t really make any sense. But maybe I’m just a lumpy suburbanite with no taste.
loading...
Meh…perhaps spending all that money on clothes makes you feel down? A smile makes all the difference but then the clothes might be overlooked?!
loading...
She sure loves those ankle boots, ugly bloody things. People look like Minnie Mouse in them. Not a good look if you’ve got Sarah Jessica Parker legs (meow).
Mind you, my legs are far worse, but then I’m no fashionista. Go Millers !!!
loading...
Give me some one “real” please. I think the clothes are lovely but this is not an attainable look for many of us on here. We would all look great if we had the money to buy designer clothing.
Yes she is stylish but lets set her loose in your suburban shopping centre with $150 to buy an outfit and see how she comes out.
loading...
She looks amazing, however anyone (a) that young and (b) that thin would look good in a burlap sack.
She’s also got a signature ‘pose’ down pat – very similar to Alexa Chung i.e. the turned in feet, slight smile, shoulders forward. I find it intriguing how these people find and adopt a pose. Think of Scarlett Johanssen – turned in toes, Blake Lively – hands on hips, Renee Zellweger – over the shoulder lemon suck lips and the shorter girls – Kelly Osborne, Kylie etc. – one bent knee. Does someone teach them this stuff???
loading...
Ugh! I cant stand the pigeon toed “i’m just a babe in the woods” pose! drives me nuts – stand up tall and proud i say!!!
loading...
Must be her ‘stand brand’.
Have you seen Emily from http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/?
Cute blog, but her poses. Seriously?
loading...
Ok I had a look and I think her poses look normal and natural for the most part. She’s keeping it interesting, it would be a bit boring if she used the same pose for every photo.
loading...
I’m with you Kathy W, the poses are AWFUL! Stand up straight, shoulders back, lose the pidgeon toes, look as though you like what you’re wearing, smile! Funnily enough, it doesn’t matter what you wear then, it all fades into the background because you look as though you are having a good time……
loading...
It’s right up there with the stupid ‘duck bill’ pucker that’s popular with the over-bleached, slightly orange & silicone-breasted crowd. Ugh!
loading...
She wears lovely clothes, but it’s a very safe, very Sydney look. I like my style icons to be daring, like Anna Della Russo.
loading...
Geez, her feet must hurt after wearing those heels all day.
loading...
She looks atrocious. What does everyone she in her fashion sense? Give me Kate Middleton any day!
And what’s wrong with fur? It’s no different to leather, if you wear/use leather then I can’t see why you wouldn’t wear fur.
loading...
Are you serious??
Leather is a by-product of the cows that are HUMANELY killed for meat. Fur is stripped from animals while they are alive to keep it soft, and we don’t eat the meat. When was the last time you had fox for dinner?
loading...
You do know that foxes are a feral animal (in Australia) and that they do untold damage to many of our endangered and threatened fauna don’t you? They still need to be treated humanely, but they certainly need to be controlled in our environment.
loading...
I used to think that too. But then I saw Blood, sweat and luxuries (UK tv series). Those cows being stripped for leather were not dead, so I doubt it is as humane as you think it is.
loading...
Rabbits are eaten and foxes are feral and killing our natural wildlife.
loading...
I do think she looks amazing but its all a bit samey. Bit power shoulders, showing a bit of leg and chucky heel/boots.
Dont get me wrong I LOVE the look but some diversity might be nice
loading...
Yes …. I think Australia’s most Stylish woman for sure!!! I love her!!!
loading...
Yes, she’s very stylish. Is she the most stylish Australian woman? We don’t know every Aus woman so it’s hard to say.
As a side note, I saw her on Australia’s Next Top Model and was not impressed. She was very grumpy, which seems to be typical of people working in fashion, and really bitchy to those girls. I remember thinking – she would not be fun to work with.
loading...
Same! I saw her last year and was really unimpressed. They do however, have that lovely French editor (or is she Marie Clair).
I remember after the ANTM controversy last yera that the Harpers girls weren’t the most personalbe. their editor was disapointing. And this Christine wasn’t very professional.
But yes, she wears her boyfriends designer clothes nicely!
loading...
I had the misfortune to serve her in a boutique years ago when studying, and in my experience she was not personable, to put it gently.
loading...
Well, if I worked at Harpers Bazaar I could probably look quite stylish too with all the lovely designer clothes thrown around. Give me a style “icon” who can look polished and on trend on a budget with some chain store fare thrown in.
loading...
WORD!
loading...
Justine Cullen from Shop Till You Drop – “all chain store, all the time” – I <3 her
loading...
LOVE Justine Cullen. Not only does she look amazeballs (especially for a time poor Mum) but she seems so darn likeable too!
loading...
Yes! I love Justine – more of her! she’s accessible.
loading...
I saw Justine on that show Park Street. I loved her. All Chain Store, All The Time. Love it. So real.
loading...
Mamamia I’m confused! You’re not ok with fur buy leather is fine? Explain that one to me please?
loading...
Fur and leather are very different, buddy.
This argument is akin to the I don’t eat meat but eat animal protein.
loading...
Hi Samantha – I have read a few responses from other people who have explained the process and I now understand the difference – that was helpful.
Alas, yours was not.
Also, while I know I have a weird name – feel free to blame my parents – I’m not actually a guy, or if the “buddy” was meant to be friendly, unfortunately, teamed with your additional comment, it came across as mean. I’m hoping it wasn’t meant to.
loading...
oh lorren go outside and take a deep breath!
loading...
Kanye was going to ‘change the course of fashion’. Good to have realistic expectations and some humility perhaps.
loading...
Is this some more Cosmo nepotism?!?!?!? (Haha just kidding, getting in before all the conspiracy theorists).
She certainly is a stylish woman and I have followed her career since she was at Cosmo but not quite sure if she is Australia’s MOST stylish and I certainly wouldn’t be comparing her to Coco Chanel just yet!
I do find it interesting that this article states the reviews for Kanye’s show were mixed but showed promise because everything I have read have absolutely panned them. Not surprised though Kanye is a massive douche and he should just stick to what he is good at. Wait, what is that again???
And to the comments below, I’m pretty sure fash editors get some sort of clothing allowance on top of their salary when they get to a certain level
loading...
Great style does not disguise bad posture.
Shoulders back Christine!!
loading...
She seems to have picked up that model thing of not smiling in photographs.
loading...
Yeah, what’s up with that? Can you imagine what goes through these people’s heads “I’m very important, I work in fashion – the world’s most serious business and therefore must never ever be photographed smiling.” I’m exhausted just thinking about taking myself that seriously.
loading...
Poor girl, she is very thin and pidgeon toed. Someone give her a meal.
loading...
soooo… is the point of this article then that you can have great style, but it doesn’t translate to the ability to design, since she ‘seems’ to have had such input into the Kanye (URGH) line, which has been panned?
loading...
Can I PLEASE have her wardrobe!?
If I had the money these are all the type of clothing I would have!
loading...
I think she looks great, and has the requisite cool name as well!
loading...
Christine does have great style, mind you in her job imagine if she stepped out in trackies one day! She carries it well anyway.
As for Kanye? sorry I think the guy is a tool, a media whore, a chauvinist pig, an egomaniac, and I am so sick of hearing about him. He is so mainstream I don’t even understand why I have to listen to his material on JJJ.
loading...
Completely agree although I think JJJ could be considered mainstream these days!
loading...
Kayne=yuck. I do not get all the hype about him, and I never will. He is such a douch, with an over the top ego to match.
Christine=gorgeous, but I find it really hard to take fashionistas seriously. They spend so much time on fashion and outward appearance I feel a lot of them are wasting their lives. I find the fashion industry laughable and foolish. Did you see the expression on the faces of the front row? Why so serious about clothes and outward appearance when there are many more important things to be concerned about.
loading...
I agree, I find people working in fashion absolutely hilarious, I’ve never heard of any doctor, surgeon, scientist, or anyone who actually saves people’s lives to take themselves this seriously.
And what’s with those silly Olsen twins and their big black shades indoors. It’s so ridiculous, if you’re that interested in the show wouldn’t you be able to see it beter if you took your sunglasses off.
loading...
Unfortunately or fortunately my hubby is a pretty simple man who just loves me in jeans or cargo’s and a basic T (think the All Saints band from back in the 90′s haha) so if I try to wear anything that slightly resembles forward-thinking fashion he just doesn’t get it and so I don’t feel that confident as I know he is not finding it very appealing.
Saves me money, but I do miss being able to wear some gorgeous ensembles and feeling confident…I guess I do dress for other’s not myself?
loading...
HOLD UP.
You refuse to post pictures of fur, but leather is fine?
I smell a hint of hypocrisy here.
loading...
Leather is not nearly as cruel to “farm” than fur. To remove fur intact most animals are anally electrocuted or in most cases still alive as they are skinned. Leather is often just a by product of the meat industry (unless its croc or snake)
loading...
I’ve been stalking Christine’s style for a while now and absolutely love it.
However, I would love to find and be inspired by a style icon that did not have loads of money and free clothes offered to them. I know I know, ironically if one is a style icon they are going to have both of these things, but so often when I go to see what she (and other icons) are wearing, they are designer labels that cost a bomb!
loading...
You stick a pretty girl in a frock…and WOW…you get A pretty girl in a frock…
[That's how most men see fashion...]
loading...
I love these mini insights – I think deep down I know this to be true, but I like to be reminded!
Also love the use of the word “frock” when used without irony.
loading...
You mean you ‘see’ a pretty girl in a frock – you don’t really ‘get’ her! Tehe
loading...
Can Mia or Paula explain how a fashion editor affords all these clothes? Are they given to editors or do they just drop all their money on clothes. What about the mortgage and bills?
loading...
I’d love to know what they actually earn. Certian that a starting salary is about $35k plus super in an entry level straight from uni role. Most of those roles are in sydney too! I can’t see that an editor would get to the level of pay that say, a partner in an engineering firm would. Fashion is so competitive, they can pay less because they know they’ll still get staff.
loading...
As I understand it, magazines are certainly not known for great pay and also in Aus they don’t get paid anywhere near what they would get paid for doing the same role in the US. The only explanation then must be that they get clothes for free, similar to how beauty editors get beauty products for free. I don’t see how else you could have a wardrobe like Victoria Beckham if you don’t have her budget, even if you were to spend all your money on clothes and max your credit card to the limit, it’s still not possible. It would be interesting to hear someone who has worked in the industry explain it.
loading...
Yes, i want to know this too. And if you are given clothes as an editor, then of course you’re going to look good! To look great when you have access to whatever you want isn’t that much of a talent.
loading...
I am an intern at ACP and I’ve always admired Christine’s Style. I know that Christine works very hard and she actually juggles a number of side projects – she’s a stylist for a number of high profile personalities including Kate Waterhouse and she also styles other designers collections.
loading...
I think she is incredible. And while most of us don’t have the same spending power (readL 99% of the population), you can quite easily translate her looks and mix it up with high street purchases. Her premise of dressing with beautiful classic pieces and incredible accessories can work for anyone on any budget.
Love looking to her
loading...
I just don’t understand fashion.
loading...
Agreed
loading...
With you
loading...
Me too. Seems such a waste of time and money chasing after something as elusive as smoke. However, I have to admit I am wearing an adidas tracksuit top and pants (my daughter says I look like I’m chanelling Sue Sylvester) but its school hols and I’m looking two of my children, four of my friends and the kid from over the road.
loading...
You know, whenever I see stylish women, I always feel the need to go out and spend money on new clothes.
I just shudder to think how much money they spend on clothes as well. Surely a fashion editor doesn’t earn such huge coin that she could afford to wear designer clothes daily? I could be wrong, and if I am, gosh darn it, I should have skipped law and studied journalism instead!
loading...
Hahaha I was thinking the same thing as I was clicking through the photos:
“Ohhh…she must have A LOT of credit card debt”
loading...
That is exactly what I was thinking! Who has the kind of income to spend $500-$1,000 per fortnight on clothing?! As much as I love looking good, I couldn’t justify that to myself. I’m embarrassed for her if she can. And also a little bit jealous if she finds that fulfilling. Ignorance is bliss.
In short: children starving, selfish to spend that much on clothes.
loading...
I think that’s a bit harsh to be fair. The lady plainly has a great eye for style. Certainly she would have access to cutting edge couture, but she has to be able to carry the look off, and it doesn’t follow that everything she wears is uber expensive.
The fact is she’s got an ability to mix clothes and accessories brilliantly. There are millions of wealthy people who wear labels but have zero style. Hers, by contrast, is extremely elegant.
loading...
I wondered too! I figured she must get Josh Goot freebies, but those clothes look EXXY! Do designers send fashion editors free clothes, much like beauty editors get free beauty products?
Although, whenever you read Cosmo magazine (or Harpers Bazaar is even worse!) the clothes in fashion editorials are usually ridiculously expensive- maybe it’s the norm in magazine-land to spend a disproportionate amount of your wage on clothes!
loading...
Especially that printed dress in the first picture – that looks silk with painted print, that would be bl00dy expensive. I think they do get sent clothes, but I am sure they are only for models to wear in photos for the magazine, not for the staff to wear. Not sure.
Magazine land sounds so glamorous, but I’ve heard many a time that they don’t get paid very well, something like $35k plus super for your first job out of uni, and all the mags are in Sydney too, so Sydney living costs!
I’m sure an editor of Harpers would get paid quite abit more than that, but I can’t see how she could be raking in a seriously substantial income, I thought that the magazines pay was not very good, because it is competitive, so they don’t have to pay that well.
Even if she was buying lots of chain store clothes, it would still add up, especially after mortgage/rent/feeding yourself/paying electricity/paying phone bills/paying internet/pay car rego!
I think Cosmo has loads of chain store, in fact I don’t remember seeing very much high end stuff in there at all. I dont even bother with Vogue or Harpers, I don’t want to read a magazine that has a $100,000.00 gown in it that I could never in my wildest dreams afford. Plus high fashion is not really my cup of tea, I’d rather Shop till You Drop or Madison – to each their own I say!
loading...
The first picture is a Josh Goot dress…it said she was his girlfriend. FREEBIE!
loading...
