This week was the David Jones Spring 2012 launch in Sydney, where Miranda Kerr and friends show everyone what’s about to land in stores. Just FYI, judging by the runway and the red carpet last night, it probably doesn’t matter what you wear, as long as it’s colourful.

We can’t decide what’s more fun. The red carpet shots or the runway shots, so here is a gallery of both:

Regardless of whether or not fashion floats your boat, it has to be said that the clothes were really rather lovely. Bright… printed… wearable… what’s not to love? And that’s just on the runway. With some of Sydney’s most stylish women on the guest list (yes, Bingle was there), the red carpet put on a better show than the catwalk.

PS. Were you thinking what we were thinking when Miranda Kerr was making her way down the runway in a white swimsuit? THAT is a whole other discussion, which you can get amongst here.
