If you breathe in really deeply, I think you can smell the weekend. And what a lovely aroma it is. Now is the traditional time here on Mamamia where we look back on our weeks and pinpoint the highlight and the lowlight.
A word of encouragement to anyone who hasn’t ever commented on this post before, COME ON. You know you want to. And to everyone who regularly comments, firstly, I love you and secondly, help me welcome the newbies.
I’d also encourage you to cheer and commiserate with your fellow commenters. It’s lovely to feel there are people in your corner even if you’ve never met them before.
OK, my turn.
BEST: My 20 month old son has FINALLY discovered how to watch TV. This should probably be a worst in official parenting terms but hell, I’ve been trying to interest him in the bloody Teletubbies since he was 6 months old and he wouldn’t have a bar of them. Until this week when something clicked. Now I can plonk him down for a few minutes at a time when I have to do something that cannot be achieved with a toddler wrapped around my ankles. Huzzzah!
WORST: A girlfriend has just discovered she has breast cancer. And that certainly puts everything else into perspective.
I haven’t done a best/worst dressed this week. I’m going to turn off my computer and take myself to a movie instead. But I did post this beautiful Frockwatch instead. Because sometimes pictures speak louder than words.
To all those in the MM community who are doing it tough right now, my thoughts, strength and support go with you…..

Best: Finding out on Sunday that I am pregnant for the first time.
Worst: Husband of 3 years asking me to get an abortion because he doesn't feel ready.
He has always been so loving and I never thought he would be capable of this. I have never been so sad in my whole life
Hopefully this is just a dream
I hope you get through this tough time Rosie. If you really want to keep the baby I'm sure you and your husband will figure it out. Big love xoxo
This is my first time to post on Mamamia.
Best: Looking forward to two blissful weeks of annual leave.
Worst: Having to remove a blob of poo which got stuck in my little cats fur ewwwwwwwww. She did not like me removing it however I'm sure she is very greatful now.
