While I was sitting on my stool during the commercial break, Yo Gabba Gabba (the kids show touring from the US) were next door doing a sound check for their appearance. Here’s what they look like:

I saw them as I walked onto the set and I was BESIDE myself. I’m taking Coco to the concert and we are major fans. I was meant to be discussing what’s making news but all I wanted to talk to Karl and Lisa and Georgie about was Yo Gabba Gabba (none of them had heard of it, I was shocked). They kept wincing and holding their ear pieces and saying “Can we get the audio turned down please” and I was saying “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? TURN IT UP!!!!”
When I walked off set, there was DJ Lance Rock doing his dancey-dance and I nearly fell over with excitement. The people in the suits were off-camera and half out of their suits (must have been hot) and they were watching me watch them like ‘Who’s the crazy lady who won’t stop staring?”
My best TV morning yet.
