“I never thought I’d get married again,” were the words from 62-year-old actress and singer Cybill Shepherd who overnight shared the news of her engagement with the New York Daily News.

Shepherd is marrying Andrei Nikolajevic, who she says “was a jeweller. Now, he’s a psychologist. He’s Serbian.”

She told the newspaper she met Nikolajevic through friends and said the proposal was “very romantic” and “on one knee.”

Shepherd three grown children from her previous marriages to David Ford and Bruce Oppenheim.
