Your daily dose of cute: Our pick of the Game of Thrones Halloween costumes

I'm completely obsessed with HBO's hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, and judging by the number of people who dressed as Wildlings, Starks and, of course, the Khaleesi (above) for Halloween, the rest of the world is too.

The internet was flooded with GOT-themed costumes last week, but there was one effort that really stood out. Reddit user ElShanko posted this photo of his sister dressed as Daenerys Targaryen, also known as the Mother of Dragons, with her baby triplets in starring roles as her trio of fire-breathing offspring.

As Cersei Lannister explains, when you play the game of thrones you win or you die. In our eyes, this costume is definitely a win - and the best use of a baby (well, three) in a Halloween costume we've seen yet.

Some famous faces also took their cues from Westeros this Halloween.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard went as the Khaleesi and Khal Drogo. "I fully realise I'm two years late, and I'm not going to apologise for it, but I think I'm going to be Khaleesi from 'Game of Thrones'," Kristen told HuffPost Live.

"It's mainly revolving around the fact that Dax wants to be something shirtless, so Drogo is his main pick. I think Khaleesi's dragons are going to be Lincoln [Bell's daughter] and my two dogs."

Kate Hudson, pictured here with David Spade in a fox costume, threw a Game of Thrones themed Halloween party with husband Matt Bellamy. Kate appears to have donned her Wildling furs (although surely that exposed skin would not fare well in the icy conditions beyond The Wall?), while the Muse frontman reportedly dressed as everyone's favourite guy, Jon Snow.

However, no House Stark-related costume will ever hold a candle to this magnificent creation: The Pugs of House Bark (via Blame It On The Voices). They've certainly got that Stark stoicism - not to mention handsomeness - down pat.

Ned would approve.
