Here is Mia’s full interview with actress Jane Kennedy, where they talk cooking and teaching kids about healthy eating.
Jane has a new recipe book out, it’s called Omg! I can eat that? It’s also available as an iPad app here. Wow!

I had both books sent over to me – adore them. The carrot soup in the recent book is BRILLIANT. Seriously addictive. In fact, I am sitting here with a bowl right now! Helped me lose 15 kilos and keep em off – am eternally grateful. Not sure husband will ever be pleased at the introduction of cauliflower rice (‘will we ever eat pasta at home again?’ as he looks wistfully through cooking magazines) but I love it.
Gorgeous interview – laughed out loud at MummyTV – do a lot of that at home although 4 year old has now abandoned ship and 2 year old more interested in putting toys and other inappropriate items in the rubbish bin. 5 month old proving to be a much better audience for the time being.

I am impressed that her kids don’t know about dessert as a concept. My children are completely ruined in that regard, as I love dessert and puddings so much myself, and love baking. So they’ll have hardly finished dinner and the default question is “what’s for dessert”?
But they believe that icecream only exists at the grandparents’ houses… we just have cream on the puddings!
And so nice to hear someone acknowledge the cost of ingredients (although I’d feel it was even more genuine if she’d demo’d cooking with tinned tuna!!).

I have loved Jane for years since The Late Show, god I miss that show, champagne comedy. I’m going to get off MM and go get that app now. Great interview.
