mia, love the lipstick you’re wearing on the interview with the “pm” – would love to know what brand/colour it is!

Congratulations Guys,
I just think this show is going from strength to strength and Mia you are seeming more and more comfortable and natural by the ep.
I find myself really looking for my MMonSky fix during the week now! Love the interviews (on the floors my favourite!!).
I admit to being momentarily befuddled with Sam not in his usual seat this week – but I got over it.
Major girl crush on KK – more of her please.
Also Rick – when are you going to be on again.
Great work all.

Great show !
The IV with Amanda was hilarious. Sam the man was at his sharpest, Bettina Arndt was talking sense, KK wasn’t pushing the party line and Simon gave us gourmet’s a food tip by comparing the taste of koala to that of echidna.
Extremely well done to all those who put this episode together. You’ve set the benchmark, now go with the benchmark.
Even plaudits to Zoe Foster for supplying those beautiful smoky eyes that you looked at us all with, MIa.

Bradley, when the drama happened on air with the segments being broadcast in the wrong order and other tech hitches, the EP said to me “Bradley is going to have my testes on toast”.

I stick to a stick vegetarian diet on the weekends.

Ooo I wonder where Sam is off to, all suited up like that!

When I’m all dressed up like that, my colleagues call me “the defendant”.

I know, he looked spiffy. I think I have a crush.

Mia told him to ditch the hoodies!

Yeah, I commented before getting to that part. Seems like he went from one extreme to the next. I kind of liked the guy next door look though to be honest. You don’t have to be in a suit to be smart.

is there ever a middle ground with sam?

Mia, just wondering what happened to the interview with Jane Kennedy you mentioned earlier in the week? Did you run out of time? Will it be shown later?
Loved the show last night. Can’t believe how quickly the time goes. Your interview with Amanda Bishop was great and I’m glad you interviewed her the person as well as her the Prime Minister!
Have to agree with Susan below that I feel Bettina is becoming more of a men’s sex advocate. Is she saying that women should have sex whenever the man feels like it (in other words – every night) just to keep the relationship happy?

Hey Petal,
Yes, we were meant to have Jane this week but due to some editing problems (I spoke to her for AN HOUR and cutting it down is taking us longer than we thought….) we had to hold it for a couple of shows.
Is coming soon!

Maybe do an hour long Jane Kennedy Special?!
Looking forward to it.

Really enjoyed this episode. Amanda Bishop is one very talented actor and comic. Watched “the flag episode” this week and didn’t find it as funny as previous episodes. In fact, was really sad for Julia and Tim at the end .. what will happen next to this couple in search of work/life balance??
Sam and KK were fantastic in drawing attention to their causes. So interesting and there is so much we can do so easily to help people achieve what we do here in Australia.
Bettina just gets more and more disappointing for me. When did she become a sex therapist and sex rights advocator for men only? Why does she keep banging (pardon the pun) on about the inner goat and the discussion we *must* have about it without making the discussion about good sex lives for men AND women? Why is she taking us back to the 1950′s where the threat of a man’s mythical blue balls meant that women had to be more *understanding* and give out no matter what they felt? Just so disappointed and feel she could use her high profile to have the really useful discussion she keeps talking about which I am waiting for. I’m going quite blue myself just holding my breath waiting for it! Come on Bettina .. you can do better than this! I got more thought-provoking sex news from KK than Bettina.

I agree re Bettina. I am reading her What Men Want in Bed book now and you have verbalised exactly what I am thinking. And I’m only up to chapter three.

“When did she become a sex therapist and sex rights advocator for men only”
Was she ever anything other than an advocate for men only?

Superficial I know but I just noticed Mia’s nails match the MM mugs!
But the more important question is when can we get these mugs? I love to collect mugs (sort of useless given that I live alone) but you can never have too many

Hmmmm. We rethinking of selling them! I love the colour…..can you tell!!
loading...
Perhaps you guys can sell them and put part of the money towards the First Wednesday Club? just a thought.
loading...
That is completely genius.

I loved last night’s episode. Sam is always great. And KK was a stand out to me. And Bettina – though I often disagree with her — is always interesting to listen to. Makes for good conversation!

Is there a link for this yet? For poor folk like me who don’t have Foxtel!

It’ll be up later today

What was going on with the editing tonight? The segments were in the wrong order and the cut aways to the ad breaks were so abrupt. Loved the chats though and thought Kristina was a real stand out.
loading...
Hmm. I love Kristina on this, and love struck Sam but the editing on this HURTS.
The bit with re Julia impersonater was awful. Sorry Mia. I just didn’t get a good vibe or even just… Anything from her. I know she’s your friend but it wasn’t good.
loading...
A few disasters with the tapes running in the wrong order which is why the show seemed so jumpy and weird….it hasn’t been a good tech day for me!!!!
loading...
Ah that makes sense. Apart from that, great panel! Kristina and Sam were ace. Who was the quiet dude?
loading...
i’m super looking forward to seeing Kristina – whilst her party was a shitfight, i really thought she gave her all as premier.
i hope she continues to do great things. go kristina!

I hope that you show as much of the IV with Amanda as possible.
Absolutely loved the “highly controversial” episode featuring the flag, the other night. The actors who played Keating, Abbott and Rudd had the voices and the mannerisms done pat ! What about Julie Bishop’s wonky eye ?
The episode was classic. I’ve read so much over recent weeks panning the program. Why have I not read any comments panning the ABC for showing it and financing the production ?
During the week I found myself reading Sam’s latest book, when the local bookstore gave me a ring to tell me that my copy had arrived and was ready to be picked up. The book is a darn good read, but I really don’t need two copies !

I met Sam last night Bradley and I’m happy to report back that he’s as honest and raw in real life as he is on his blog. He said he’s sick of writers playing it safe and I have to agree. It’s better to make someone read something you’ve written and go “ooh” than it is for them to only do that do-i-have-to-laugh-to-be-polite crap.
You’d love him.
