Do You Like This Story?

You can say you’re interested in the music. Of course. There’s some real boppy beats. And some not.

But really, Eurovision is all about the spectacle. The staging. The fashion. We’ve gathered some of the pics together, so take a look. Make sure you check out Ireland.

I love Eurovision, I did a wrap of my thoughts on my blog: http://blithemoments.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/moldova-was-robbed-eurovision-wrap.html

I must say I thought all the Scandinavian countries did really well this year, but I was a bit surprised that a few more of them didn’t get more points.

Surely, they must put a limit on how many times a country can enter the competition
    - Zjelko Joksimovic has represented serbia 3 times in the last 5 years! And struggling to see how Albania got so high in the vote with their own answer to Bjork!

Sweden was definitely a deserving winner, I think Italy should have done better with points though, great entry!

LOVE Eurovision! have been watching it since childhood. even if the songs are sometimes ridiculous, it’s a tradition.
But didn’t anyone realise what happened this year: Ireland managed to do TIMETRAVEL! they traveled from the 80s!

A good friend of mine holds a spectacular Eurovision party every year which frankly, is better than the actual final. I thought this year’s was pretty ordinary, waaaay too many ‘ballads’ not enough silly pop ;)

Think I may actually be slightly scarred by Albania’s entry – all that off-key SCREAMING, yikes. I loved Lithuania, wanted them to win. Could not understand why everyone went batshit crazy over Sweden, but there’s the mystery of Eurovision for you!!

It’s also a family tradition for us, love watching it for the giggles. I liked Italy and Iceland. My least favourite- Turkey

Year after year I watch this. It has become a tradition. Bit disappointed in the lack of that true Eurovision brand of crazy this year. So many of the songs were very commercial. Where was 2012′s Milan Stankovic? I did like the winning song though (I’ll keep it on the down-low). Loved Rick’s tweets on this btw. And great SBS commentary by Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang, of course.

I, for one, loved Ireland and cannot be persuaded otherwise!
