Charlize Theron has a brand new baby.

 

Some exciting news for this superstar.

Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron has announced she has adopted her second child.

Over the weekend it was revealed the 39-year-old had become the mother of a newborn baby girl.

Charlize Theron, 39, has adopted her second child.

According to TMZ, Theron liaised with an adoption agency for six months before adopting the child in July.

The little girl was born in America but is of African descent.

Theron named her new bundle of joy August.

Baby August is Theron’s second adopted child. In 2012, she adopted a little boy, Jackson, from her native South Africa.

US Weekly reports Theron’s happy news comes just over a month after her split with 54-year-old actor Sean Penn.

The pair had been dating since 2013 and were recently engaged. Penn and Theron reportedly spoke of adoption and Penn considered co-adopting four-year-old Jackson.

However, the couple announced their un-coupling after the Cannes film festival in May.
