Tennis star Andy Murray married his long-term girlfriend Kim Sears at Dunblane in Scotland on Saturday afternoon.
We’re sure Andy is a great guy, but in our minds Kim Sears can basically do no wrong. Ever since she got swear-tastic court side at the Australian Open and then wore a “Parental advisory: Explicit Content” jumper to the next match, we’ve loved her (can neither confirm nor deny if any swears were exchanged as vows at the wedding but we’re guessing no).
The couple, who are both 27, exchanged their I do’s in front of friends, families (and hoards of fans) at the 12th Cathedral in Murray’s home town.
The pair had been dating for nine years before Andy popped the question in the Philippines last November.
Typical of Scotland it rained and hailed periodically. But there were some joyous sunny-snaps of the pair strolling towards a limousine which showed off Andy’s kilt and Kim’s embroidered Jenny Packham wedding gown.

Their smiles are ecstatic.
What’s even sweeter is the tweet Andy posted to his 2.83 million followers prior to the celebration. It’s a breakdown of what his wedding day was going to look like… using emojis.
As you can see there are multiple wine glasses. And quite a few sleeping ones too (yeah, yeah Andy *winks*), thus proving that there is in fact an emoji for everything.
