For the last week, Kim Kardashian West has been teasing her husband, Kanye West’s, latest fashion collection.

Currently in Tokyo, Kardashian West tweeted that she was sharing pics of her Yeezy Season Seven head to toe “out of boredom” and definitely not-in-a-very-strategic-and-frankly-genius-marketing strategy.

So when stockists walked into the Yeezy Season 7 showings, safe to say there was abitof confusion when they were shown an empty room.

AN. EMPTY. ROOM.

In a since-deleted tweet from a Yeezy account, Kanye West reportedly had a simple reason for the bizarre decision.

“Stockists were invited to a showroom that was empty, it was an unexpected meeting explaining that there won’t be any apparel or accessories for SEASON 7 as Kanye West couldn’t do what he wanted to achieve with this collection,” Yeezy Mafia tweeted.

Yep, apparently because West wasn’t happy with what he had, he decided to release nothing at all.

If only that excuse flew for school and university and well.. life. Damn.

Instead, the brand would release only footwear, as it did in its second season.

Twitter, unsurprisingly, had a field day.

It’s then things got even more interesting.

In response to the rumours, Kim Kardashian West sent an angry tweet to the Yeezy Mafia account calling it “false information”.

Kardashian West insisted that the pieces she’s been wearing will be online soon and the showing was strictly shoes as always intended.

“Yeezy does not play by fashion rules,” she wrote.

As for the unaffiliated Yeezy account? The tweet has been deleted and Kardashian West “has made some calls”.
