Trinny Woodall is a fashion icon. No doubt about it.

Since the early 2000s, the TV presenter turned business owner has been sharing her style and fashion prowess with a highly engaged audience of women.

It all started with the hit showWhat Not To Wear, becoming one half of the television duo 'Trinny and Susannah' with her close friend, Susannah Constantine.

We learned plenty of tips and tricks from the pair, and Trinny – whose real name is Sarah-Jane Duncanson Woodall – went on to curate a sparkly social media presence that includes colourful outfit tutorials, closet confessions, make-up and skincare hacks.

And she has more fans than ever, with Trinny having over 3.3 million followers across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.

This month, Trinny came down under to launch two new Trinny London pop-up stores in Sydney and Melbourne. And of course the Australia trip included a visit to theMamamiaoffice as well.

And while here, Trinny did what Trinny does best – bring the style advice, embrace the bold colours, and provide plenty of fashion inspiration to women across the country – regardless of age.

So to mark the 58-year-old's place in the style zeitgeist, we decided to look back at some of her most iconic outfits, from the early 2000s to now.

Trinny on ageless fashion:

"There are many things that make us feel invisible as we go down the path of life. I want to feel that I am literally hammering on people's doors until I'm 95 and they never ignore me," she said to The Star recently.

"And that might be how I dress, how I speak, what I put on my face, how vibrant and alive I look, that makes it so that I'm considered in the conversation."

Trinny on how to dress for summer:

"A lot of people ask me 'what are the summer essentials' but for me my summer wardrobe is something I've kept the longest. My first essential is a scarf dress that can do anything. It's also about textures in the summer. My default skirt is something flowy, basic and a fabric that doesn't crease easily," Trinny said in her Closet Confessions series.

"A kaftan-wrap dress is also a classic. Use a belt that is a complementary colour."

Trinny on the perfect shoe:

"I always tell women that a beautiful trainer/sneaker can be your best friend," she said.

"And I have some wonderful ladies who follow me on Instagram and see me in a lovely dress and go, 'Oh, you ruined it with the trainer.' And I will go back and I'll say, 'No, I made it with the trainer."
