So last night Grant Denyer, the most grateful Gold Logie winner of all time, was knocked off his perch by possibly the most ungrateful winner of the Gold Logie of all time, Tom Gleeson.

The comedian, who was nominated forABCprogramHard Quiz,spent the weeks leading up the Gold Coast event sledging his fellow nominees Waleed Aly ( The Project ), Amanda Keller (The Living Room), Costa Georgiadis (Gardening Australia), Rodger Corser (Doctor, Doctor), Eve Morey (Neighbours), andSunriseweather presenter Sam Mac.

The roasting didn’t end there.

His opening monologue was dickhead comedy at its best, and he came back around to take another bite out of… pretty much everyone in the audience in his acceptance speech.

“For me [The Gold Logie] represents a joke and I love jokes,” he told the crowd.
