Why The Bachelor newlyweds Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich are living apart.

Deep breaths, people. Yes, it’s true; newlyweds Anna Heinrich and Dr Tim Robards are living separately right now.

But there’s no need to whip out the tissues and ‘love is dead’ Facebook status, because all is fine with the Bachelor couple’s marriage.

Speaking to NW magazine, 31-year-old Heinrich said she and her chiropractor/fitness entrepreneur husband are currently based in separate states for work; she in Sydney for new series Trial by Kyle (Yes, as in Sandilands) and Robards, 35, in Melbourne for his upcoming role on Neighbours.

“It’s extremely hard, but we’re both extremely busy with our own projects,” she told NW.

“Obviously we just got married, so that doesn’t make things easy, but at the same time I speak to him all day every day.”

The couple married in Italy in June, five years after meeting on the first season of The Bachelor Australia.

While they’ve recently been forced apart by their respective commitments, Heinrich told the publication the honeymoon period is still in full swing.

“I fall more in love with Tim every day,” she said, “and being apart from him makes me appreciate him more for sure!”

The blogger/media personality said her husband flies home to Sydney on weekends to see her, in between filming his role on the iconic Aussie soap.

As announced in July, Robards will appear on our screens from October, playing Pierce Greyson, a wealthy investor “who has more on his mind than just making money”.

“I watched Neighbours as a kid, so to be on the set with such iconic characters like Paul Robinson, Toadie and Susan is an amazing experience," he said in a July statement. "The entire cast and crew have been so welcoming.”

Heinrich, meanwhile, is due to star alongside radio host Kyle Sandilands in a Judge Judy-style show, introduced as part of Network 10's controversial pilot week initiative.
