Roxy Jacenko has unveiled a dramatic hair change. And her daughter has one complaint.

Breast cancer survivor Roxy Jacenko has traded in her blonde locks and dyed her hair pink to raise money and awareness for a cause close to her heart.

The PR guru and mother-of-two revealed her new pink hue on her Instagram feed and further explained the transformation while appearing on Today Extra on Tuesday morning.

Jacenko, who battled breast cancer after her diagnosis in July 2016 and is currently in remission, had her hair dyed on Monday to raise money for cancer research during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

She told Today viewers that Toni & Guy Salons were today offering $30 blow dry, with all proceeds going to National Breast Cancer Foundation and Look Good Feel Better Australia.

“Now I suppose I realise more than ever, having experienced it, how important it is to really dig deep and help out,” the 37-year-old told hosts, Sonia Kruger and David Campbell.

“At 36 I never thought I’d get cancer, even though my mother had had it it wasn’t on my radar. What you realise as you get older is it is touching everybody these days, so whatever we can do, no matter what charity it is you support, the more money there is the more chance there is of them finding cures.”

However, not everyone was impressed with Jacenko’s transformation – her six-year-old daughter had one complaint.

“Pixie wasn’t impressed,” she said. “She was feeling left out, and asked, ‘Why can’t I have that?’.”
