Ever since Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough’s extravagant Mexico wedding earlier this month, tabloid headlines about Karl’s ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, and her reported strong opinion on the “over-the-top” celebrations, have been rife.
Last week, New Idea reported that Cassandra, who split with the Today host in September 2016, made an “extraordinary outburst” following the wedding, in which she reportedly said that their children – Jackson, 19, Ava, 13, and River, 12 – travelled with their father to Mexico, but did not attend the wedding ceremony.
“They were told they never had to go [to the actual wedding]. My 19-year-old has assured me they did not attend,” she is quoted in New Idea as saying.
“They [had] to go [to Mexico] and my eldest son went to protect them because at the commitment ceremony they tried to force my children, remember.”
There have been mixed reports on whether the kids attended any of the celebrations at One&Only Palmilla resort, but the magazine reports the 47-year-old said they did not.

It is certainly not easy for Karl's 3 children to see their father marrying another women after he has made love to his wife (their mother and created them together). Not wise Karl.
Oh, for God's sake. Are people meant to stay celibate after their marriage breaks up? It might be difficult for the kids to come to terms with their parent moving on, but it's a preposterous idea to suggest it's "not wise" to do so. At the end of the day, the sex life of the parent is no business of the child.
They’re fed up, you say “we’re fed up” and yet here we are again going over it....
