The Jenner you probably forgot about got married. With fireworks.

If your last name happens to be Jenner, your wedding was always going to make news across the tabloids.

Initially, it began with rumours his sisters Kendall and Kylie would not attend, and came full circle with reports that Caitlyn Jenner also didn’t attend her son’s wedding.

So, aside from the headline-making drama, how did Brody Jenner’s wedding to blogger and business owner Kaitlynn Carter actually transpire?

Well, according to E!, the wedding took place on the island of Nihi Sumba, “a luxury island resort about 250 miles east of Bali, Indonesia” on Saturday.

About 70 guests were in attendance, including Jenner’s former The Hills co-star Doug Reinhardt, his brother, Brandon, and their mother, Linda Thompson.

In an interview with People in the aftermath of the wedding, Jenner told the magazine it feels “awesome” being married.

“I honestly feel like we’ve been married for five years already,” he said, while his new wife added it was the “most dreamy, incredible night ever”.

The two added they partied until after 4am and the night was capped off with fireworks, because of course, famous people and famous weddings know the art of subtlety well.

TMZ reported Caitlyn Jenner skipped her son’s wedding to attend Life Ball in Austria, the biggest charity event in Europe supporting people with HIV or AIDS. Meanwhile, the tabloid also reported Kendall and Kylie didn’t even RSVP to the nuptials.

The couple, who have been dating since 2014, became engaged in 2016 during a trip to Nihi Sumba.

“On May 4th 2016 I got engaged to my lover and my best friend Kaitlynn Carter,” Jenner wrote on Instagram at the time.

“I couldn’t be more in love with this woman and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”
