Just 14 editor-approved lip balms to get you through chapped lips season.

I love winter dressing

I hate winter lips.

I mean, look, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g dries out in winter but I swear it's my lips that fair the worst by far. Hot showers, blasting warm air-con, blustery wind, all that nose-blowing (ew, but I KNOW you know what I'm talking about).

It can all add up to not especially kissable lips, and even if you have no one to smooch, you still have the right to live in a permanent state of kissability.

Now, when it comes to lip balms, I must confess, I am a bit of a hoarder. (Alright, I'm a bit of a hoarder in all aspects of my life, but that's not what we're talking about today, okay?). And while I definitely have my favourites (of which many feature below), I thought I'd kick off my entry into this year's cold season with some recs from people I trust – aka the Mamamia team.

I polled the office on their favourite products to keep their lips soft, smooth and chap-free all winter, and got honestly WAY more responses than I expected, validating my lip balm obsession and giving me plenty of new balms to buy options to rec to you, fine people.
