Former The Bachelor contestant Michael Turbull is back for another shot at love after being the runner up for Sam Frost’s season of The Bachelorette.
The former Australian professional footballer was a member of the Australian squad for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He signed to Melbourne Victory in 2015 but did not play a game for the team.
Michael lost to Sasha Mielczarek in the season finale and was criticised throughout his time on the show for inflating his soccer achievements.
“I had a lot of people quick to judge and put me down and these are people that I have never even met before,” he told Fairfax after the 2016 show ended.
He launched a self help website, was accused of being involved with a pyramid scheme and has also worked in real estate.
Bachelor in Paradise is coming to Australia for the first time and we are EXCITED.
