Who is Lisa Hyde from Bachelor in Paradise?

We’ve sat through eight seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette (how has there been that many!?), so it’s easy to lose track of who is from whose season.

For example, Lisa Hyde – who will be starring on Bachelor in Paradise this year.

Lisa Hyde is from the second season of The Bachelor, which was almost certainly the most controversial. Remember who the Bachelor was? Yep… Blake Garvey.

Shall we revisit what happened on this notorious season from 2014?

Blake Garvey took the final two – Lisa Hyde and Sam Frost – to South Africa for the finale where he left Hyde heartbroken before expressing his love to Frost and proposing to her. After the finale aired, all scheduled media interviews were canceled for Blake, Sam and Lisa as it was confirmed that Blake and Sam had in fact broken up since filming.

The following week it was revealed that Blake was actually dating Louise Pillidge, who was second runner-up to Lisa.

Since being on The Bachelor, Hyde did find love with Tyson Mayr, a travel blogger and model who also appeared on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The two travelled the world to the most picturesque of places, but after two years of being together decided it was time to call it quits in December 2016.

From Queensland originally, Hyde is now a successful fashion designer who is the founder and creator of eyewear label, Shevoke.

Judging from the trailer, it looks as though Lisa and Luke Mcleod - one of the fan-favourites from Sophie Monk's season - hit it off. We'll be watching this one closely, hoping she finds a man who treats her better than the man Australia loves to hate, Blake Garvey.
