Bachelor in Paradise's Alisha Aitken-Radburn and Glenn Smith are expecting their first child.

Bachelor in Paradise's Alisha Aitken-Radburn and Glenn Smith have announced that they're expecting their first child.

The couple, who met on the dating reality show back in 2020, shared the exciting news on Instagram on Wednesday.

With an ultrasound in hand and beaming smiles on their faces, the couple revealed the baby's due date to be September. 

"Been keeping a lil secret," wrote Alisha. "Baby Smith arriving September."

Instantly, their comments were flooded with well wishes from friends and fans, with former Bachelor star Locklan Gilbert writing: "Can't wait for play dates."

His wife, and winner of season eight of The Bachelor, also rejoiced after hearing the news writing, "I've been waiting for this! Congratulations again guys, so incredibly happy for you both. Can’t wait for our Mum group sessions."

Brooke Blurton also chimed in, commenting: "Congrats!!"

The reality TV stars tied the knot last year in April, in a wedding ceremony in Glenn's home state of Western Australia.

Alisha, who first appeared on-screen in 2018 in Nick "Honey Badger" Cummins' season of The Bachelor, was famously given the "villain edit", a subject she wrote a book about.

"It felt like we were fighting for our lives," Alisha told Mamamia's No Filter last year. "We were just bombarded, and we were trying to claw back some sort of morsel of respect. We were trying to convince anybody who would listen that we weren't bad."

Her novel, The Villain Edit, explores her journey navigating the politics of reality TV — however, despite the harrowing experience, she still walked away with something worthwhile: Glenn.

Before meeting Alisha, Glenn was also no stranger to The Bachelor franchise. The soon-to-be dad had a short stint on Angie Kent's series of The Bachelorette in 2019, before making his way to season three of Bachelor in Paradise.

Upon meeting one another, the pair quickly became inseparable, declaring it was "love at first sight" and well... the rest is history.
