Hello?! A reversible cropped trench (very in right now) that's both gingham and chocolate brown on the inside.

That's TWO jackets people. For the price of one.

I added it to my wishlist immediately and then went about my week. Then, my colleague Madi came into work wearing said jacket and I realised how much I loved it.

Yes. I was going to do it. I was going to get it.

"Good luck," Madi scoffed. "They're gone."

In a matter of days, the jacket was completely sold out online and in store…

BAR ONE that I stalked down — lots of frantic calling and one 20-minute train trip later — and found that afternoon, hanging solo on the 'last chance' rack.

Meet Zara's ZW Collection Reversible Short Trench Coat. I'm utterly obsessed, just like everyone else.

The first time I wore it to work, everyone was requesting to try it on.

"So cosy"

"So flattering"

"Woah, big pockets!!!"

Now, the jacket is viral online (and in our office) and Zara have released a very similar reversible coat that will no doubt sell out fast.

And let me tell you, it's worth it. Here's why:

• Well, it's two colours in one. I know I've said that already, but I cannot stress this enough. TWO JACKETS!

• The cotton blend material makes it super lightweight to carry around, but insulated enough to keep you warm as we move into autumn.

• A funnel neck looks flattering on absolutely everyone and is an easy way to upgrade your outfit with one small tweak.

• Front pockets on both sides of the jacket.

• The cropped-ness of it all means it looks great with long pants or even shorts and skirts, without swallowing you whole like a regular trench.
