Taylor Swift's upcoming nuptials to Travis Kelce are a topic of hot debate in the Mamamia office, after 'insiders' claimed to reveal Taylor Swift's wedding details.
Which designer dress will she wear? Will she share photos via a Vogue exclusive spread or simply post them to her own Instagram page? Will she do an interpretive dance to her song Opalite to mark the milestone? That one is just a suggestion from me.
I'm personally of the opinion that the details of this wedding will be kept under lock and key — with, at most, one or two photos shared by Taylor herself. But time will tell, because if reports are to be believed, the big day is fast approaching.
Everybody stay calm. This is just a wedding, ok?
Yes, it's possibly the most awaited wedding of our generation, between the biggest pop star in the world and a very successful NFL player, but that's no reason to lose our heads.
We decided to take a look at what we really know, and what, at this stage, is hearsay. So, let's just look at the facts here.
Who is invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding?
Despite the angry men in bleachers who spend time complaining about Taylor Swift at sports games, the superstar is actually immensely popular (as is her groom) and this wedding is turning into a who's who of Hollywood.
And according to TMZ, the couple called all of their guests individually to invite them after sending watermarked save-the-dates — lest someone spoil the fun and sell the story. Although, clearly someone is leaking tea.
Selena Gomez and her husband, Benny Blanco, will reportedly be in attendance, along with famous friends including Gigi Hadid, Sabrina Carpenter, Lena Dunham, Sophie Turner, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Cara Delevingne, Jack Antonoff, Zoë Kravitz, and close friends like Ashley Avignone, Jerrod Carmichael, and Abigail Anderson Berard.
Perhaps one of the most surprising additions, is Benson Boone.
TMZ has reported the singer scored an invitation to the nuptials, and we have to ask, did he manifest this? Was there a vision board involved? Because he actually manifested their first meeting by declaring in a viral video: "someday I'm going to meet Taylor Swift. Not yet."
He then ended up opening for the Eras Tour in London in 2024.
They've certainly crossed paths now, but he's not exactly in the inner circle like fellow tour opener Suki Waterhouse. So how did he score an invite? Maybe he's that close aquaintance you invite for vibes. Maybe Taylor and Travis just wanted to ensure at least one invited wedding guest could do a backflip on the dance floor.
As for couple pals like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and Miles Teller and Keleigh Teller, reports claim these friendships have drifted — so it's currently not clear if they will be invited.
Given the intense closeness of Taylor's friendshp with Blake and Ryan (she is godmother to their children, and those children have appeared on Taylor's albums) it would be a big statement not to invite them to the wedding.
As for Miles and Keleigh, they quickly grew close when he appeared in Taylor's music video for I Bet You Think About Me.
They went everywhere together, Keleigh frequently shared photos with Taylor on her socials, and Miles even appeared on Travis' New Heights podcast this year. But they haven't been pictured with Taylor since the end of 2025 and reports from Page Six and TMZ now claim they have been snubbed. Intrigue.
On the Kelce side, Travis' brother Jason, sister-in-law Kylie, and extended family are all reported to be attending, along with his NFL pals like Patrick Mahomes and his coach Andy Reid.
One thing for certain: Prince William is not invited.
I say this because he only met her one time backstage at the Eras Tour, and yet he recently had to answer "no comment" when questioned by British radio hosts on whether he was attending. Let's just all assume that is not happening.
Because the guest list is tight.
According to an invitee who allegedly spoke to the Daily Mail, not every invited guest received a plus one. And this particular guest complained they didn't want to go alone, adding, "I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!"
And to that I say, maybe you should try mingling? It's the celebrity wedding of the year. Buck up.
There is one piece of scurrilous gossip that my greedy, gossip-loving little heart can't help but indulge in — and that's how the celebrity guest list is allegedly shaping up to see a few exes breathing the same air.
And I'd love to have a word with whoever is in charge of the seating chart, because we could really make things fun if we got crafty.

As reported by Page Six, Zoë Kravitz is invited despite their friendship being somewhat more "bumpy" in recent months due to the actress' new romance with Taylor's ex-boyfriend Harry Styles. It was reported in the last two weeks that the couple are now engaged.
It's unclear if there is actually any tension, as Taylor has been publicly friendly with Harry for years and is extremely close with Zoë — but that's just the beginning of this tangled web.
Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff are both reported to be attending with their new spouses, Luis Felber and Margaret Qualley, respectively. Lena and Jack were together for five years, and she recently wrote quite extensively about their relationship in her memoir Famesick .
Rumoured bridesmaid Gigi Hadid is currently in a relationship with Bradley Cooper — who used to be in a relationship with Taylor's other friend and Eras Tour opener, Suki Waterhouse (who is rumoured to be attending with her partner, Robert Pattinson, who had dinner with Taylor and Travis in London last month).
Gracie Abrams is a long-time pal and collaborator of Taylor Swift's and could be in attendance with her partner Paul Mescal. He used to be engaged to another rumoured guest and Taylor pal, Phoebe Bridgers (who is now with Bo Burnham).
Sabrina Carpenter is reported to be going, but it's unclear if former Taylor Squad member Camila Cabello will be invited. If she is, that's another juicy twist, as both women dated Shawn Mendes and have both written top hits about the love triangle.
Honestly, Taylor Swift and her publicist/right-hand woman Tree Paine deserve a medal just for how convoluted the planning phase of this wedding would have been.

When is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding date?
Wedding Chicks claims Saturday, June 13, is the chosen date, given that 13 is Taylor's lucky number and also a day when the Kansas City Chiefs aren't playing. Meanwhile, Page Six is reporting that the wedding will take place much later, on Friday, July 3.
It's certainly not a confirmed fact, and it's unlikely that Swift will publicise the date of her wedding before it takes place.
Either date would make sense, and the Chiefs' latest announcement has added fuel to the fire. A mandatory 'minicamp' was scheduled for June 9 to 11 — it's the Chiefs' final offseason activity before training camp starts in late July.
So yes, Kelce will be on leave on June 13 and July 3.
Where is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding?
Along with Wedding Chicks, multiple sources alleged that the wedding will be in Rhode Island.
It was rumoured to be specifically held at The Ocean House, a swanky, old-fashioned wedding venue in Watch Hill.
Ocean House is just a five-minute walk from Swift's own 8-bedroom 1930s mansion, known both as 'High Watch' and 'Holiday House'. It's the same house she referenced in her song The Last Great American Dynasty.
Fun fact: it was once owned by Rebekah Harkness, referred to in the song as "the most shameless woman this town has ever seen". The mansion has been undergoing a $1.7 million refurb, and was traditionally the location of Swift's famous girl gang parties and Fourth of July celebrations.
A New York wedding photographer by the name of Alicia Daw commented on the Wedding Chicks post, saying "I am a photographer in this area and I heard — to be clear, totally hearsay — that they "shut down" most of Watch Hill that weekend, [June 13]".
Alicia, you are not helping the situation!
Fortunately, (or unfortunately for everyone frothing over a potential scoop here) another wedding planner, named Tara Guérard Soirée, also commented – and promptly burst the bubble.
"I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island! Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo!"
Boo, indeed.
On April 10, Page Six reported on rumours that Save the Dates for the wedding had been sent out, asking guests to be available on Friday, July 3, in New York City.
Of course, at this stage, it's all hearsay.
What do we know about Taylor Swift's wedding dress?
It seems Taylor has indeed 'picked out the white dress' that she sang about in Love Story in 2008. Sources from Us Weekly have reported that the dress is in its final stages of tailoring.
This is not confirmed in the slightest.
Buuut, if her wedding is indeed in June, common sense tells us that she's already picked it and it's getting all the finishing touches.
What designer Swift will go with remains a topic of mystery.
She's previously worn a Nicole + Felicia wedding dress in the I Bet You Think About Me music video, as well as multiple designs from Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, Roberto Cavalli and more, during the Eras Tour. She wore Ralph Lauren for her engagement, so these are just a few labels being bandied about.
There's also Vivienne Westwood, a brand she has worn repeatedly on the red carpet, which is famed for its corsetry.
But alas, we still cannot confirm any details about the dress that will surely stop the nation.
In terms of shoes, she's known to love Christian Louboutin (if she can dance in them for three hours at the Eras Tour, surely her wedding will be a breeze!), although she also likes Jimmy Choo and Aquazzura.
What is Taylor Swift doing for her Bachelorette?
It goes without saying that we cannot wait to see a repeat of Swift's infamous Fourth of July parties that she held in Watch Hill in the mid 2010s.
Her hens is reportedly taking place across a number of trips, including to New York, Nashville and the Bahamas, but again, this is not confirmed.
Either way, the star has already said that it's difficult to get all her favourite people in the same room at the same time.
"Everyone's scattered across the world," she told Heart Radio in October 2025. "You would think that I had been the type of person who would've obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want until I met the person, so I haven't actually even thought about that."
She added that her friends are, "So fun, but they're so busy."
Who are Taylor Swift's bridesmaids?
Here's where it gets a little wonky.
Multiple publications have claimed Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and the Haim sisters (Danielle, Este and Alana) would make for great bridesmaids.
Blake Lively, (who has accompanied Swift to numerous games) might be on the outs, but she's could be an option. More importantly, childhood bestie, Abigail Anderson, would have to have a big role.
And let's not forget her long-time friend Ashley Avignone, who keeps a lower profile but has stood by Swift through thick and thin.
How much will we really know about Taylor Swift's wedding?
The truth is, Taylor has been able to hide multiple album drops from her fans so we think she can keep her wedding to herself. Let's look back at the engagement. We knew they'd get engaged, but we had no idea how it would happen.
And that was Travis, operating alone! Imagine what his mastermind fiancé can do with a project?
A month after the couple were engaged, in August last year, a source (AKA a publicist) exclusively told People that Kelce and Swift would ensure their nuptials were kept quiet.
"It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle," the source said. "They both have a close circle of friends, and they'll respect their privacy."
So, when the big day does arrive we likely won't know much about it. This is not a woman who needs publicity, so the likelihood of it appearing in Vogue or People is slim.
