Amongst all the build up (and family drama) to the royal wedding, few things have been speculated about more than which designer Meghan Markle will choose to wear when she weds Prince Harry.
More recently predictions changed overwhelming to lauded British vegan designer Stella McCartney, daughter of Paul and Linda McCartney.
Both predictions were wrong.
Meghan wore a simple but stunning boat neck, long sleeve gown deigned by British designer Clare Waight Keller, who became the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy. The veil offered the only lace in sight as a very delicate trim. Perfect.
It’s was speculated that Meghan was wearing Princess Diana’s tiara, but in fact it is one loaned to her by The Queen. It belonged to Queen Mary, who is the wife of George III.
