As a pale girl, I take my bronzer very seriously.

An everyday makeup routine for me involves concealer, lip balm and copious amounts of bronze.

I still remember the day Kimmy K introduced me to the concept of contour and boy, was my world of bronzing opportunity burst wide open.

Not only could I give myself a faux sun-kissed glow, but now I could chisel my cheekbones, define a very non-existent jawline and make my lips look double their size with a little shadowy magic. What a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Given the amount of surface area contour covers on our faces, finding an option that won't leave you patchy or orange is truly the ultimate goal. And it ain't easy.

Up until recently, I was a loyalist to a very good, but very expensive contour stick by Westman Atelier. Unfortunately, it's one of those things that you're annoyed is so good, because it's just not financially sustainable at $83 a pop.

I was actually shook to discover my makeup started weirdly looking better on office days than when I was using my expensive products at home.

If I had to describe the MCoBeauty contour stick in one word, it would be creamy.

It's such a dream to apply and blend into your base, and if I'm being honest, I was not expecting it to be THIS good.

I find working the contour into my brush is the best way to apply evenly, then I use this to liberally douse my forehead, under cheek bones and under my chin in bronzey glow.

I use the light shade and find it the perfect colour for my fair skin without looking unnatural, and it actually stays all day, no patchiness here, folks!

For less than a quarter of the price of my Westman Atelier contour stick, it gets the job done even better than its expensive counterpart ever could.
