The first official photos of Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson’s wedding are here. The bride wore sparkles. Look at them sparkles, sparkling:

Apparently Jessica’s dress, by designer Caroline Herrera, is “champagne” colour.  It looks like a flat but quite lovely shade of gold to us, but sure! Champagne it is.

The 33-year-old singer/reality tv star/businesswoman told the magazine that her special day was ‘all about family’.  Her mum Tina and sister Ashlee were her maids of honour, and her daughter Maxwell was her flowergirl. So yeah, when Jessica Simpson says ‘it’s all about family,’ she means it.

But enough of all that. You came here to see a wedding dress.

The ceremony took place in front of 200 close friends and family at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montcito, Santa Barbara County, California. 

Johnson, a former football player told the magazine “I saw my gorgeous wife coming towards me and she was crying. I think my heart was exploding a little bit.” 

Luckily for everyone involved, Johnson’s heart did not, in fact, explode. It stayed well within his chest, and everyone lived happily ever after. Wearing champagne.
