Jarrod Woodgate is on his way to Bachelor in Paradise and HELL YES.

Something BIG and pot plant-related has just happened.

Jarrod Woodgate (you may remember him from approximately 875 minutes of beach crying footage in the finale of The Bachelorette) is on his way to Fiji right now for the first season of Bachelor in Paradise.

We think. Maybe.

According to the Daily Mail, a “source” close to Woodgate (probably his pot plant) said the 31-year-old just told his family he was “going away for a few weeks”.

Listen: Australia, Bachelor in Paradise is coming. Post continues after audio…

According to the pot plant source, a family member said, “He doesn’t know where he’s going, (the Bachelor producers) just said to get to the airport.”

But it won’t be all pot plants and happy endings for Woodgate – apparently the site where they’re filming Bachelor in Paradise could be exact same spot where the reality TV star got his heart broken by Sophie Monk about, erm, three hours ago?

His family are concerned it might bring back mixed emotions for the vineyard manager.

“I hope they (Bachelor in Paradise cast) aren’t staying in the same place,” a family member told the pot plant.

The Daily Mail reports that Woodgate has also been telling his friends he’s going away for a few weeks.

The timing of Woodgate’s mysterious trip makes sense as the confirmed stars of the first season, such as Apollo Jackson, are all heading to Fiji within the next 48 hours.

Tara Pavlovic, Keira Maguire, Davey Lloyd, Apollo Jackson, Laurina Fleure and Michael Turnbull are all heading back to our TV screens next year, and another lineup announcement is imminent.

In case you missed it, Bachelor in Paradise is a spin-off of the USA’s Bachelor spin-off show (try saying that three times fast).

The premise of Bachelor In Paradise is simple – put a whole group of rejected Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants on a tropical island and watch the drama sparks of love fly.

We can’t bloody wait.
