An Aussie TV icon and MAFS groom: Every contestant in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

It’s a new year, which means it’s time to watch celebrities be stripped of their life luxuries and forced to take part in humiliating challenges, all for our entertainment.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! started on Sunday night, and Channel 10 has officially unleashed the constants into the South African jungle. Let’s hope they have iron stomachs.

Hosts Chris Brown and Julia Morris began the new season by announcing that Channel 10 will be matching all proceeds raised for the celebrities’ chosen charities throughout the season to donate to the ongoing bushfire crisis in Australia.

Side note… Watch the promo video for I’m A Celeb. Post continues below video.

There’s been plenty of clues, guesses and rumours, but here’s who is officially in the jungle.

Perez Hilton.

Perez Hilton is the latest campmate to join I’m A Celebrity this year.

Perez Hilton is a celebrity gossip blogger who rose to notoriety in 2004 for his harsh unpacking of celebrity culture. He has been a fixture in gossip media ever since.

Cosentino.

Australian magician Cosentino is world-famous for his insane, mind-boggling illusionary tricks.

Cosentino came second in the 2011 series of Australia’s Got Talent, the season which saw Jack Vidgen take out the title. He also won Dancing With The Stars in 2013.

He joined the jungle a week after the other campmates as an intruder.

Myf Warhurst.

Australian TV icon Myf Warhurst was one of the few celebrities announced prior to the premiere.

Myf is best known for her work at the ABC as a journalist, Triple J radio host and as a team leader on the quiz show Spicks and Specks.

Oh, and she co-hosts SBS’ Eurovision Song Contestant alongside comedian Joel Creasey.

In an interview with Channel 10, Myf explained that although she is a huge reality TV junkie, getting her to take part in I’m a Celeb! took a few years of convincing.

“I always thought I was too scared. I still think I’m too scared, but… I put it down to a mid-life crisis.”

Tom Williams.

Aussie media personality Tom Williams’ arrival into the jungle was similarly announced before Sunday night.

He rose to fame on the Merrick & Rosso show, before receiving his own segment on The Great Outdoors and winning Dancing with the Stars in 2005.

Speaking to Ten about his fear of living in the jungle (or more specifically, his fear of snakes), Williams said: “It will be horrible and I’ll probably be quite disturbed… but that’s entertaining!”

Charlotte Crosby.

Remember when everyone thought the ‘international party girl’ clue was Lindsay Lohan?

It looks like Lilo won’t be making an appearance this year, but we get a pretty good alternative: Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.

She’s probably one of the biggest reality TV stars in the world, appearing on MTV show’s Geordie Shore for five years, before moving on to Ex on the Beach. She has also hosted Just Tattoo Of Us and won the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.

Charlotte announced her inclusion on Friday, saying she had no clue what to expect but it was a dream come true.

“I don’t have to photoshop my head on the English [I’m A Celeb] line up anymore,” she joked.

“See you soon my jungle buddies, get ready for a WILD ride.”

Miguel Maestre.

Celebrity chef Miguel Maestre was the first celeb announced way back in November.

Miguel is best known for co-hosting The Living Room, plus presenting cooking shows like Miguel’s FeastMiguel’s Tropical Kitchen and Boys Weekend. He also appeared on Dancing With The Stars in 2019, but unlike then, will be hoping he doesn’t get eliminated first in the jungle.

“Let’s see how I go making paella out of rice and beans,” he said after the announcement.

Erin Barnett.

Erin Barnett also walked into the jungle on Sunday night, surprising precisely no one.

Barnett placed second in the 2018 season of Love Island Australia and was also the runner up on Beauty and the Geek Australia in 2013.

The clue from Channel 10 said she was ‘reality TV beauty’ who was last seen in a ‘tropical paradise’.

Barnett has over 350,000 Instagram followers and recently celebrated her one year anniversary with her partner Mick Russell.

Ryan Gallagher.

Annnddd… another former reality star.

Ryan Gallagher, 31, was ‘married’ to Davina Rankin on Married At First Sight in 2018 and is now I’m A Celeb‘s “lovable larrikin”.

“I’m used to a lot of cheaters… A few of you might know me from my terrible experience [on MAFS],” Gallagher said on Sunday night’s show. “These days I do radio and comedy.”

Ryan could find love in the jungle, with Charlotte Crosby admitting on Sunday night the two have previously flirted online.

“I cannot believe that Ryan is here,” the Geordie Shore star laughed. “We’ve never actually met, we have spoke on social media. We have had a bit of a flirt as well so that’s a bit awkward.”

“She’s mad, but I’m also mad,” Ryan said.

Rhonda Burchmore.

Rhonda Burchmore is another contestant competing for the jungle title, as it is confirmed she is the “Order of Australia winner [who] really knows how to put on a show”.

Rhonda was awarded a medal of the Order of Australia in 2014 “For service to the performing arts, and to the community.”

Burchmore is one of Australia’s most famous musical theatre actors and was once a regular guest on Hey, Hey It’s Saturday.

Answering when she was last in the news in the teaser, Rhonda replied: “‘I was in the headlines of [bleeped] airport, I got stopped.”

In November, Rhonda was searched by security at Dubbo airport after testing positive in an explosive test.

It was a false positive, apparently sparked by an ingredient in her high-end Chanel perfume.

Nikki Osborne.

Comedian Nikki Osborne was the “controversial blonde [who] is no Barbie.”

Osborne has been on a number of local shows including Celebrity Name Game, Show Me the Movie ! and Hughesy, We Have a Problem and has been in a few movies in minor roles.

As she admitted in her intro video, “I’m the girl you’re Googling right now.” Yep.

Dilruk Jayasinha.

Actor and comedian Dilruk Jayasinha is the “famous DJ [who] loves to make people laugh”.

As it turns out, DJ is actually just his initials, not his profession.

In 2018, Jayasinha won the Logie for Best New Talent and is best known for his role in the ABC comedy show Utopia.

We’re still waiting on two more celebrities to join the show, both of who we’ve been told are former footballers.

The online consensus – after several clues and some footage of their faces and bodies – appears to be that we’re about to see former AFL footballers Dale Thomas and Billy Brownless in the jungle.
